"LOOK HONEY A WILDFLOWER!"😇...................NORTHWEST ADVENTURES! 😀
“Look Honey A Wildflower!”☺️
Around the Silvertop home, one of the “Signs” that Spring has really arrived, is setting up Liz’s garden swing!😍
Just a little too early, and a “ pineapple express” wind storm will toss this swing across the yard, like an empty pop can!😳
Pineapple express….. what an interesting term Lol!😇
What this is referring to is an unusually warm windstorm coming out of the southwest, along with a pounding rain storm!🙄
How Fun Lol!🤣😅
Liz had plans to plant baby Aspen trees today, so Silvertop plugged in the espresso maker before the Sun was even up!😳
First a quick trip to the local lumber yard for more tongue and groove Spruce for the continuing remodel of Liz’s laundry room walls……… then it was planting time!☺️
Over the years Silvertop has tried to burn out this old Western Red Cedar tree stump, with very little success!🤔
A few years ago I gave up, and decided that it gave an eclectic look to the side yard Lol!😇
Liz and I were looking for a “Home” for these Aspen trees, and this looked like the perfect spot!😊
These baby trees would almost disappear in sight, if planted in the open………..
“What do you think honey?”😍
“Silvertop we need to put a fence around these trees, the Deer will eat them!”🥰
This has happened before…..
We planted Aspen trees in the backyard years ago, only to have them become dinner for the local deer population!🤔
“Liz, that was back when the deer population was exploding, this Winter we have only had one Mother deer and her baby, and they usually stick to the far backyard to graze!😍
Five baby trees quickly planted in front of this stump, with several flowers in the foreground!🤗
“They will do well here Liz, and you have plenty of room to fill this spot with many more colorful flowers!😍
Silvertop will keep a close eye on the Mrs trees and plants, after all I do have just a little bit of firewood to stack that you can see in the background Lol!😅
Till tomorrow Silvertop Mike 😊
