Spring is a bit slow this year….. it looks like Mr Squirrel is tapping into his back stock of pine cones, left over from Winter Lol!🤣
The forest is just starting to green up, and if you check out the fourth photo, you will see pink flowers!🤗
Remember the old saying…….
“April showers bring May flowers!”😅
It’s a bit different in the Cascade Mountains!😇
Showers……… well that goes without saying Lol!🤣
Spring can go on for several Months in The Pacific Northwest, sometimes all the way till June!☺️
As I hike in the forest this time of year, I start to see “layers” of Spring!😇
Buds on trees over here, and flowers blooming over there, and then suddenly the “Deciduous trees” (leaf bearing trees) will be completely leafed out!🤗
The forest canopy Will be back!☺️
