How to do time management?

There is a lot of content on time management, but despite having so many things, we are not able to manage time properly.

If you have acquired theoretical knowledge only in your textbooks, there is another type of learning which is action oriented learning, this type of learning will be useful in your real life.

As such I am sharing with you an action oriented template, which is one of the most important time management templates.

Four D Model of Time Management

This means dividing your daily tasks in such a way that you can be more productive and efficient.

D - Do it

Here are all the tasks to be done which are very urgent and important i.e. you have to list the tasks of the whole day and see which ones are most urgent and important.

One thing to remember is that you have to work according to the goal and according to the goal you have to list your urgent and important tasks.

For example: the most important goal-oriented actions that will improve your life.

D - Delay it

Here are the tasks to be done which are least important but important i.e. you have to list the tasks of the whole day and see which are the least important but important.

You will do the tasks in this box but you should do these tasks after doing your main tasks.

All the tasks in this step will help you survive but will not help you achieve anything big in life. To achieve anything big in life you must prioritize and must do the first D tasks.

For example: things not directly related to your goal but important that you must do.

D - Delegate it

All the tasks in this group are neither important nor urgent.

You can easily outsource this step.

D - Delete it

In this phase all those tasks of your life will come, which are of no use to you and only waste time.

So record the actions of this step in the detection and cancellation ledger.

For example: wasting time chatting, talking on phone and wasting time on social media, wandering aimlessly etc.

Use this template monthly and keep improving yourself regularly.
