Greetings to you all, I welcome you to my entry on this contest titled: How do you measure your success? I am so delighted to share with everyone my little knowledge about this contest topic.

✅ What is success according to you?

Success can be seen as a state whereby a person have achieved a defined range of his/her expectations in life. When the aim and objectives of something has been accomplished, it can be termed as success.

Success is also that joy and happiness a person derives from self satisfaction knowing fully well that you have done your best to become the best that you can become.

When we talk about success, it doesn't necessarily mean that you have more money or even become famous, but success also includes being less worried, being happy and peaceful as well having less stress.
In summary, Success is just the direct opposite of failure.

✅ How do you measure that you are successful?

To me success is not just measured by having a lot or more material possession and it's not just defined by societal standards.

But, success is being contented with what you have, and finding fulfillment in your pursuits in different perspectives of your life. It could be your career, your personal growth or even relationship with others.

Therefore I measure being successful by the impacts I have in other people life, how happy and peaceful I am, how I am able to achieve my set goals in life and my professional life as well.

Success can also be measured by how proud and happy you're about your life, and what you are able to accomplish and how you were able to achieve it, irrespective of how little or small that accomplishment nay seem or be.

Lastly, success can also be measured by your love life and how you have live it, caring and showing concern for others and it also involves empathy and compassion for people around you.

In summary, success can be measured by how happy you are, and how fulfilled and accomplished you feel.

✅ Are you successful in your personal or professional life?

Okay.... I will start with my personal life, I have actually defined and explained above, what successful means to me personally , so far I can boldly say that I am successful in my personal life. I have made alot of impact in people's life, I make people around me happy and give them Sense of belonging, I care, show concern and compassion for people around me alot. So with all these and lot more I can say that my personal life is successful to some extent.

And talking about my professional life, I want to start by appreciating God for how far he has seen me through this part of my life, I can't really say that I am successful in my professional life yet, but then I am working so hard and tiredlessly to see that I become successful in my professional life. And hopefully and God's willing I soon will become successful in my professional life. Success is not achieved just in a day, but it is part of life journey, and not a destination.

✅Why is it important to measure success?

There are alot of importance why we should measure success, I set goals with steps that are realistic but challenging. So measuring my success will help me know if I have reach the goals.

Measuring of success is also important because it helps you know if you are learning, growing and working toward moving forward. When you measure success you will be able to know that you're either moving forward or backward in life.

Without measurement of success, you can easily lose sight of your goals and also get off track. When you measure your success, it enable you to know your achievements and celebrate them, you know your mistakes and learn from it, then adjust where needed.

In conclusion, measuring success is very paramount and very important in life, because it helps in tracking your progress and also enable you to stay focused and motivated.
