In my opinion, new year resolution are sets of principles, rules, goals, habit, behaviours etc an individual feels there is need to either change or stop doing completely for the betterment of his/her life.

I support making of new year resolution because it guides an individual to have a purpose of living, to have a sense of seriousness for the year concerning how best he wants to move towards the goals he has set aside to achieve in life.

The picture above is just a part of my new year resolution and I am already working towards achieving them one after the other.

Not having a new year resolution makes your life blank and idle which gives room for bad thoughts, bad actions and envy when you see other people celebrate their own achievements.

Also, it is not enough to write down a new year resolution. It is the delebrate actions taken each day, each week and monthly towards practicing your resolution that matters. If you do not pay the price of pain and discipline, you will not be able to achieve your new year resolution. Put in the work and watch yourself grow this year.

I am calling on @princessmimi, @hopewilliam04 and @glosunz to participate in this contest.

Your thoughts about making a new year resolution are valid and the things you've written shows you're ready to improve and do better this year but in my own opinion, I rather approach life each day with resilience and gratitude for the new day rather than set out goals I might not work towards achieving them. Many just write down their resolution for writing sake and abandon them two to three days after. This year, I just want to be intentional about myself and growth and that's the approach I'll wake up to each day.
