These are all second-hand books. Most of them are available for the symbolic price of just £1. If someone wants to buy a book, they simply leave the money in a box nearby. There is no one there looking after the books or collecting the money, which I found really interesting!

The town also has many craft and antique shops, but I found the prices quite excessive. Everything seemed very expensive compared to other places and countries I’ve visited!
