One has to like books to like this. Since years, at least 40, I see books everywhere and the best is if they are for free. They are on shelves in hotels, the supermarket after you passed the cashier and before you leave, we have many give away cabinets those for books included. I like it.
Are those books for free or for sale?
These are all second-hand books. Most of them are available for the symbolic price of just £1. If someone wants to buy a book, they simply leave the money in a box nearby. There is no one there looking after the books or collecting the money, which I found really interesting!
The town also has many craft and antique shops, but I found the prices quite excessive. Everything seemed very expensive compared to other places and countries I’ve visited!
