Except maybe for group suggestions - which are 95% terrible - I don't pay attention to ads since I have an ad blocker. And when an ad does come up, I hide it.
Ain't got no time to waste on mostly useless products
I also block ads and hide the ones that appear in my timeline. However, I still think it's good to be aware of the capabilities that advertisers and propagandists bring to bear when promoting their products or narratives.
I know, it's scary. I troll #newspeakliberal groups... and THESE are the groups that are suggested. All the more content to hide
