Like so many other cities, Tokyo has so many sides to discover. Of course, there is the modern, colorful, and stylish Tokyo that we know from catalogs and documentaries. But if you take a little more time to get to know the Japanese capital, you will find completely different sides to this wonderful city, all of which are worth discovering.
It probably always depends on the day and your own mood when you're out and about. Sometimes it's the new and the big picture that intrigues us, and sometimes it's the tiny details that we always overlooked before.
What is important today may be completely unimportant tomorrow. And on a future visit, it suddenly seems totally exciting again and we feel like a little kid. But that's often how life is, and that's probably what makes it so appealing — otherwise we would all have gotten bored long ago.
Whatever you enjoy, take pleasure in it as soon as you encounter it. Life is far too serious to always approach everything with complete gravity. Laugh and smile, and show that you are doing fine. And hopefully you will be able to share your joy with those around you. Because after all, we can all use a little lighthearted cheer now and then...

Wie so viele andere Städte auch hat Tokio viele Seiten, die es zu entdecken gibt. Natürlich gibt es das moderne, bunte und stylische Tokio, dass man aus den Katalogen und Dokumentationen kennt. Aber wer sich ein wenig mehr Zeit nimmt, die japanischen Hauptstadt kennenzulernen, wird noch ganz andere Seiten dieser wundervollen Stadt finden, die sich alle lohnen, entdeckt zu werden.
Wahrscheinlich kommt es dabei auch immer auf den Tag an, auf die eigene Lust und Laune, mit der man unterwegs ist. Mal ist es das Neue und das Große, das einen interessiert, und mal sind es ganz kleine Details, die man zuvor immer übersehen hat.
Was heute wichtig ist, mag morgen schon wieder total unwichtig sein. Und bei einem zukünftigen Besuch wirkt es auf einmal wieder total aufregend und man freut sich wie ein kleines Kind. Aber so ist es ja eigentlich oft im Leben, und das macht wohl auch der Reiz aus - sonst wäre uns allen ja schon längst langweilig geworden.
Was immer euch Spaß macht, erfreut euch daran, sobald ihr ih begegnet. Das Leben ist doch viel zu ernst, um immer alles nur ganz seriös anzugehen. Lacht und schmunzelt, und zeigt, dass es euch gut geht. Und hoffentlich schafft ihr es, eure Umgebung an eure Freude teilhaben zu lassen. Denn wir alle können doch ab und zu ein wenig ungezwungene Heiterkeit gebrauchen...
