Three times 2025 =/= Drei Mal 2025 - Part 2 🌄🎩 🌈 ENG-GER

And here comes part 2 of my review of the year, which isn't really a review of the year at all. As I wrote yesterday, I'll spare us all the drama and keep it a little shorter. Actually, almost everything has already been said and written, and our attention span has already been stretched quite a bit.

And that's why today I'm simply sharing three pictures of my three favorite places this year again — Tokyo, Berlin, and Aizu.

We'll start with picture 1 today in the Japanese capital, more precisely at Nezu Shrine in the northern part of downtown Tokyo. It's early spring, and if you look closely, you can even see cherry blossoms in the background. We had mixed luck with the weather, but still had a great time in this wonderful city.

Picture 2 is from Berlin, even if you might not believe it. But this is what the German capital can look like, as there is a lot of greenery and water within the city limits. And it is precisely these little oases that help you find a little distance from all the hustle and bustle that otherwise accompanies you everywhere in such a large metropolis.

Picture 3 is from Aizu, more precisely from a shrine in the city of Kitakata. There is an 800-year-old ginkgo tree, which with its many leaves conjures up a thick yellow carpet every fall. It's a magnificent sight, which I certainly had to capture on camera from many different angles.

But as I said, there is only one picture each – you can find more details in my other posts. There I often go into more detail about the places I visit on my trips. Tomorrow, there will be part 3 of this little photo series, before we finally reach the end of the year....

Und hier kommt Teil 2 meines Jahresrückblickes, der eigentlich gar kein Jahresrückblick ist. Wie ich ja gestern geschrieben hatte, erspare ich uns allen das große Drama und fasse mich lieber etwas kürzer. Eigentlich ist ja fast alles gesagt und geschrieben, und unsere Aufmerksamkeitsspanne ich bereits ordentlich strapaziert.

Und aus diesem Grund gibt es auch heute drei Bilder von meinen drei Lieblingsorten diesen Jahres - Tokio, Berlin und Aizu.

Anfangen tun wir in Bild 1 heute in der japanischen Hauptstadt, genauer gesagt am Nezu-Schrein im nördlichen Teil der Tokioter Innenstadt. Es ist Anfang Frühling und wenn man genau hinschaut, kann man im Hintergund sogar die Kirschblüte entdecken. Wir hatten wettertechnisch Glück und Pech, aber trotzdem eine großartige Zeit in dieser so großartigen Stadt.

Bild 2 ist aus Berlin, auch wenn es vielleicht gar nicht glauben mag. Aber auch so kann die deutsche Hauptstadt aussehen, gibt es doch innerhalb der Stadtgrenzen eine ganze Menge Grün und Wasser. Und genau diese kleinen Oasen helfen einen, ein wenig Abstand von all der Hektik zu finden, die einen sonst in einer so großen Metropole überall begleiten tut.

Bild 3 ist aus Aizu, genauer gesagt aus einem Schrein in der Stadt Kitakata. Dort steht ein über 800 Jahre alter Gingkobaum, der mit seinen vielen Blättern jeden Herbst einen dicken gelben Teppich hervorzaubert. Es großartiger Anblick, den ich natürlich aus vielen Perspektiven auf Foto festhalten musste.

Aber wie gesagt, es gibt jeweils nur ein Bild - mehr Details findet ihr in meinen anderen Beiträgen, in denen ich oft etwas ausführlicher auf die Orte eingehe, an denen ich bei meinen Ausflügen vorbeikomme. Morgen gibt es dann Teil 3 dieser kleinen Fotoserie, bevor wir dann wohl endgültig am Ende des Jahres ankommen....
