White or Pink? =/= Weiß oder Rosa? 👹🍣🎎 Wonderful Japan ENG-GER

Yep, it’s cherry blossom season, and I’m trying to make the most of this wonderful time as best I can. Even though it’s not so easy this year, and the weather isn’t quite cooperating as it should. But still, it’s fun to be out in the fresh air, and when the sun shows up, it’s of course even more beautiful.

What we get to see there is, as always, enchanting. Now that the cherry trees are blooming everywhere and transforming the countryside into a sea of blossoms, you’re automatically drawn outside. I just don’t want to miss out on anything.

And that always raises the question of which color is the right one. White clearly dominates, but here and there you can also spot vibrant shades of pink, which can be truly impressive.

Which looks better? A good question, to which there’s probably no good answer. I usually lean toward the white blossoms, which seem somehow more delicate and exquisite. But the pink blossoms are also a delight to behold, so there probably can’t be a winner.

But that’s okay—there doesn’t have to be one. I simply enjoy what I get to see. And I hope this spectacle is far from over!

Jawohl, es ist Kirschblütensaison, und ich versuche diese wundervolle Zeit so gut zu nutzen wie es geht. Auch wenn es in diesem Jahr gar nicht so einfach ist und auch das Wetter irgendwie nicht ganz so mitspielt wie es soll. Aber trotzdem, es macht Spaß, an der frischen Luft zu sein, und wenn die Sonne mitspielt, ist es es dort natürlich um so schöner.

Was wir dort zu sehen bekommen, ist wie immer bezaubernd. Jetzt, wo überall die Kirschbäume blühen und das Land in ein Blütenmeer verwandeln, zieht es einen doch automatisch nach draußen. Man möchte ja einfach nicht verpassen.

Und dabei stellt sich dann eben auch immer die Frage nach der richtigen Farbe. Klar dominiert das Weiße, aber hier und dort kann man auch kräftige Rosa-Tone vernehmen, welche richtig beeindruckend sein können.

Was wirkt besser? Eine gute Frage, auf die es wohl keine gute Antwort gibt. Normalerweise ten diere ich zu den weißen Blüten, welche irgendwie zarter und feiner wirken. Aber auch die rosa Blüten sind herrlich anzuschauen, so dass es wohl keinen Sieger geben kann.

Aber das ist auch in Ordnung, muss es ja auch nicht. Ich erfreue mich einfach an dem, was ich zu sehen bekommen. Und hoffe, dass das Schauspiel noch lange nicht vorbei ist!
