Lifestyle community curator team - how to be upvoted, how we will be working

As some of you already know, our team, made of @ponpase @willeusz @o1eh @progressivechef @haidermehdi @esteban85 and me, @papi.mati have won and at least for the nearest month, we will be curating the best publications about everything related to the Lifestyle.

In this post, we will present how we are going to work and what to do to increase your chances for an upvote. We wish to make our work as transparent as possible and distribute votes in the best possible way - getting to know how we work will help you to increase your income, but everything is constructed in such a way that even the person who won't read this publication, will have a chance to get the upvotes (hashtags are simple and intuitive, all the communities will be checked by our team, we will be reviewing posts written in many languages).

Basic rules

The rules are quite simple and you surely already know them, but let's remind them as the formality:

1) Your publication has to be plagiarism-free and #steemexclusive

Sure, you can quote some websites or cite, as long as all the sources are properly marked. Remember that quotes and cites should not be more than 20-25% of all the text and text should preferably be made of at least 300 words. In some cases, very interesting publications that are shorter may be upvoted as well, but sharing the text made of two or three sentences definitely won't give you the upvote. We will be using plagiarismdetector tool and a few others of that type to make sure your post is free of plagiarism.

Upvotes will be distributed only for the #steemexclusive content. If you have published your post on another platform, you won't get it. Make sure you used the #steemexclusive tag.

2) You need to use your own photos or the pictures on the Creative Commons license

Using the photos from the Internet is allowed as long as it's properly sourced and on the Creative Commons license. Taking copyrighted photos from the websites of the hotels, restaurants or newspapers excludes the booming support. It's quite important because many Steemians are still not aware what are the photo licenses and they think that everything that was published on the Internet once, can be re-used and shared on our platform. It's not true though. If you need more information, please check this link , where all the photo licenses are explained and a few websites with free to use pictures are suggested.

3) You need to be at least in #club5050

According to the rules, obviously, the upvotes will be distributed exclusively between the Steemians who have joined at least #club5050, although being in #club75 or #club100 will increase your chances for the rewards. Remember though that just joining the club does not guarantee you will be upvoted, the quality will always be the most important factor.

4) You need to use the proper hashtag

We do not create the new hashtags, because those users who would not read that post, would be excluded from the trail. We want to keep everything as simple as possible and give everyone the chance to get the rewards, so we will be following six tags that are already in common use.

Every day, another member of the team will be checking the tags and upvoting the posts. Every member of the team has one tag that will be treated as the priority for them, although they are allowed to check other tags from all mentioned below and distribute their upvotes in a way they like the most. There are no strict rules related to the voting power that should be used by the team members - some of them may decide that they prefer to upvote more users with lower voting power, others will choose to select only a few writers and reward them with 100% upvote. Both ways are good - one allows to give the small income to the bigger group of Steemians, the other focuses on a few writers, but the income distributed in that way is more significant and noticeable, giving more satisfaction to the author.

To not skip any of the best quality posts, we will keep an eye on different versions of those popular tags as well. For example, while checking #garden, we can also review #gardening, with checking #health, we can review #healthy, etc.

We will be upvoting publications in several languages. We speak in 7 different languages and besides that can check as many of them as is possible to translate with the popular online tools.

Work organization

By using the discord, we will be constantly in touch with each other and we will be collecting the data about all the upvoted posts, communities where they are from and countries of upvoted authors. That way we want to show you that our activity is not limited to one or two communities or that we do not upvote only one nationality. The report will include also information about the seven best publications upvoted in the previous week.

Reports will be written by me, but the rewards will be distributed among all the team members - 14% each person, and the remaining 2% for the charity (@adollaraday). It will be one of two different ways how we will be rewarding ourselves for our work (the second one is starting the day with one 100% upvote for the person who is managing the steemcurator account in that time).

The account of Steemcurator won't be used to write any posts or downvotes. We will be exclusively upvoting the authors and every upvoted post will be commented with the short, simple text, just to show who is responsible for the upvotes that day:

"Great job!

Your high-quality post has been upvoted by the Steemcurator account managed by @... . We enjoyed reading it a lot."

It's very important to make sure that every other team member starts the shift with 100% voting power. That means that we cannot go below 82% voting power to give it time to regenerate properly. We are from very different time zones, so it's challenging, but it is possible to achieve. My suggestion include collecting the posts that we will want to upvote for the whole time, but upvoting exclusively in two hours per day (the process is very fast, so if we will start upvoting with the list of the posts that we want to reward, it will take even less time):
