The days pass like the waters of a river that flow unstoppable, making us feel that life is but a fleeting moment. This is how we experienced this second week of curation.

As always, we delighted in reading excellent, genuine posts in which users shared their daily routines, their paintings, their literary narratives, their poems, and their reflections.

The comments also made their presence felt. Communication among users is becoming increasingly common, allowing us to forge bonds of friendship and empathy. Here, we have conquered the Tower of Babel, as technology has enabled us to understand each other, despite not sharing the same languages.

@almaguer writes a message, in the form of a literary missive, to @wakeupkitty.pal, in which he shares his daily experiences in his country. And, although he never mentions his beloved Cuba, all of us who know him understand that the environment he portrays in his writing is that of his country, which is experiencing moments of "desolation," like someone nearing their final days.

For those who don't know, Cubans only have two hours of daylight per day. And this user is a "talent" who, if he doesn't have an active post to receive votes, could very well be rewarded with some of his valuable comments. In that regard, I ask Steemitblog to be understanding.

This Steemian has a very busy schedule that starts with going to the office; he even has to verify his personal information and pick up his daughter—all part of his daily routine. He doesn’t forget to take a brief break to enjoy a cup of coffee before continuing with his other tasks, nor does he neglect his religious duties, and he even has to return to the office until late afternoon. That’s what made me choose this post.

In this heart warming post, the user shared how he put humanity first in the discharge of his duty, he had important personal thing to achieve on a day when he was supposed to be off but he had to put that on hold to save a life that was threatened and left to fate but for his swift intervention, the whole narrative changed. Health workers of his kind are indeed selfless and worth celebrating.
