Do you remember the good old exorcism movies from the ‘80 and ‘90? If you liked them, you will probably like the newest movie with a similar story named In the Trap. It comes from not so known director, but the trailer looks decent, and as I can see, it was already premiered in some countries and has a star rating of almost 7 on imdb.com, which is really great for the horror/thriller movie… It’s hard to find a decent movie from that genre these days...

The story follows a proofreader, Philip, who afraid to leave his apartment because he is tortured by an evil force for over two years… As time passes he doesn’t know what is a dream and what is a reality… He is asking for help from a priest, but that makes things even worse...

The director of the movie is Alessio Liguori, not so known director, but he has done a thriller movie back in 2013 named Report 51, but it didn't get very good critics. This is his third full-length movie after the mentioned one and TV movie Darkly from 2016. The screenplay is written by Daniele Cosci and Alessio Liguori.

In the main roles are Jamie Paul (TV Series Black Mirror (2016), The Death of Don Quixote (2018)), David Bailie (Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003), Gladiator (2000), Traveller (2013)), Robert Nairne (Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018), Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016), Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens (2015)), Sonya Cullingford (The Danish Girl (2015), Les Misérables (2012), The Mummy (2017)), Miriam Galanti (The Good Italian II: The Prince Goes to Milan (2016), Metamorfosi, Scarlett (2018)) and others.
