I don't have a picture of a maleo bird so I just replaced it with a turtle dove that fell from the nest while learning to fly.
I once saw a documentary on the lives of animals on TV, so I was very impressed with the maleo bird, a very unique bird.
When it's about to lay its eggs, it will seek out a quiet place away from predators. This is to protect itself. After laying its eggs, it faints for five minutes, so it has to hide to prevent predators from preying on it.
This is truly unique and quite amusing. Is it the large size of its eggs that makes it faint? I almost forgot the story, but I still remember it fainting after laying its eggs.

When my birds lay their eggs they make a kind of scream. They do it in a very high pitch that is unmistakable because they never do it unless they are laying their eggs.
I think it's because their eggs are big for that small bird, the quail.
What you say about the Maleo bird fainting after laying its egg is impressive and curious. I'll have to read up on that fainting to learn more about it.
It's unfortunate that the bird fell while learning to fly, but the good thing is that once it learns, it will fly non-stop.

There are plenty of birds that are kicked out of the nest by their parents. They then learn to fly from the ground up. Then you have stupid people who think that's sad and put the young bird back in the nest or take it with them, while the parent is simply feeding it on the ground.
You're right, it's survival that leads these birds to act this way with their chicks; in fact, these little ones learn to fly and gain confidence, you could say they become somewhat more independent.
Hey buddy, you're absolutely right, parents do everything they can to help their little ones learn to fly.
Many people don't move forward because they allow fear to rule their lives and think that going through certain situations is sad, so they hide away, just like birds do.
We have to take risks, win or lose.

I didn't know about this either; it's very sad to know that feels pain when doing something that is usually natural.
Imagine you are dove... I mean.. seriously they lay eggs non stop. It must be some punishment for not spreading peace. Pooping out too big eggs is no fun.
It must be a prank of nature itself to reduce the rats underneath the birds.

One of my relatives had pigeons at his house and over time there were too many. What she did was sell some of them at a low cost, but the problem persisted. She decided to give away the pigeons she had, along with the cages , She got tired of taking care of them
They poop a lot and they are annoying for the neighbours, but you can prepare great dishes out of the rat underneath the birds.
I lately read they never have the bird flue, which makes one think ...

Hihihihi.....apa ia seperti itu,..kurasa burung maleo terlalu besar telur yang keluar sehingga dia pingsan, ada-ada saja, Oia aku sekarang sudah memperbaiki kereta ku dan sekarang aku sedang duduk bersama suamiku untuk mencari jaringan yang bagus untuk memulai membuat postingan, tadi aku sempat kesal baru satu kontes sudah hilang jaringan lagi dan itu membuat ku kesal.

Fainting from the pain is probably a good thing. Then there is less suffering. I think it's nature's trick to save the suffering women. Imagine having to push out an egg like that over and over again. Being a chicken doesn't seem like much fun to me either.
Ya.... ternyata jadi ayam juga punya perjuangan hidup, aku sering melihat ayam ku bertelur dia tidak pingsan namun dia diam sambil menahan rasa sakit dan termenung.
Ketika dia turun dari kandang di berkokok sangat kuat menandakan dia sudah siap bertelur 🤭

Alhamdulillah keluarga saya baik-baik saja dan sehat cuma harta benda tidak ada yang bisa di selamatkan, Hanya tersisa AC yang tersisa karena tinggi terpasang didinding sementara pakaian serta alat elektronik semua ludes di sapu banjir, mereka kembali ke 0 dan mencoba bangkit kembali dari keterpurukan.
