I had the same. In a mobile phone a lot of info isn't shown, although back then it could be found as I started using Peaks and later another app.
Still most features are made for pc users although I asked many times to make it suitable for mobile phone users. In this age but also where poverty increases mobile phones are way more used than PCs.
If I mute post at all (editing is always possible) I give the author some days to copy the text, for example to post it into the right community, before I mute it.
What I also hate are all those empty posts, why not replace the "error" with something else?
If communities never answer it ends for me. After all, I help to lift them with my posts and not the other way round.
I cannot remember, except for once from @patjewell, I ever received a good uovote from any community.
Once I was invited by @solperez to join her contest in a different community she started to be a moderator. Next I was told my entry didn't fit to them, and scolded.
After I received a high upvote all of a sudden I could stay. I removed it and posted elsewhere.
I remember that experience perfectly. Your post was impeccable. I think you said you spent nearly two days writing it, and that was evident in the rigor with which you addressed the points raised. I also remember the "verbal reprimand" from the community administrators. What they did to you and Eva, who also had a similar experience, motivated me to resign from my role as moderator, because I love art, especially irreverent art.

La verdad es que tampoco me enteré de si te quedaste allí o te fuiste. Creo que si no hubiera tenido mis propias comunidades, simplemente habría publicado en mi propio blog. Este tipo de cosas hacen que, en realidad, ya no quieras tener nada que ver con otras personas, porque acaban con toda la creatividad de uno. Ni siquiera me preguntaron cómo o qué, o a qué me refería. Allí también tuve la sensación de que no era bienvenido en la comunidad y quizá esa fuera la razón de la reacción. Es muy posible que esta comunidad, y también algunas otras en las que tuve un encontronazo porque, por ejemplo, me negué a darles parte de mis votos tal y como ellos prescribían, haya cambiado y ahora haya otros moderadores, pero, en cualquier caso, nunca volveré a publicar allí.
Llega un momento, después de tantos años, en el que ya no puedes más; entonces solo te queda ser tú mismo y expresarte escribiendo en tu propia comunidad o en tu propio blog. Es triste, pero esta es la realidad, y lo que se aplica a mí, por supuesto, se aplica también a muchos otros. Por cierto, creo que también es bastante fácil que te encuentren siempre que utilices los hashtags adecuados y haya gente que le dé un «me gusta» a tu publicación.
What surprised me most at the time was that it seemed as though the moderator – your new colleagues – didn’t even seem to know that you’d hosted this competition. Actually, I didn’t really notice whether you stayed there or left. I think that if I hadn’t had my own communities, I would simply have posted on my own blog. The thing about situations like this is that you actually don’t want anything more to do with other people because they stifle all creativity in a person. No one even asked how or what, or what I meant by that. There, too, I had the feeling that I wasn’t welcome in the community, and perhaps that was the reason for the reaction. It may well be that this community – and a number of others where I had run-ins because, for example, I refused to allocate some of my votes to them as they prescribed – has since changed and now has different moderators, but in any case, I’ll never post there again.
At some point, after so many years, I’ve had enough; all you can do is be yourself and express yourself by writing in your own community or on your own blog. It’s sad, but this is the reality, and what applies to me naturally applies to many others too. Incidentally, I think you can still be found quite easily as long as you use the right hashtags and there are people who upvote your post…
The administrators of that community asked me to organize a contest on any topic I wanted. But then they turned out to be very "closed-minded" about art. I didn't last a month there, because as you say: "At this age I'm not in the mood to obey, but to do what I please," hehe.

I guess by now we are too old to do as told.
It's strange how by creating obstacles instead of solutions, all we achieve is discouraging people. Then we complain that there's no good content or interesting people.

I am not so sure if the rules are all bad, but those moderators abused them to their benefit, same for hosts of contests. They mainly let people use hashtags that didn't make sense at all and only to let participants promote them.
Next to that the communities fought for as many members as possible, no matter if they posted. The more members the bigger the chance to receive the vbooming clvote for a month.
