Diary Game:Playing live music in a traditional marriage today 15th,06/2021
Good evening my good people...how are you ,i believe things are going well with you,,i am fine as well ,you know God has been faithful ..i want to tell you about how i spend today
My work my pride ,my passion,my joy...playing music is what i do..so today our gig calender said we were going to play a trational marriage ceremony in uyo here..
The venue precisely was located at osongama estate,Dr Abel Damina way,uyo,its a field made for events and meetings,
I went to the place not that early in the morning as usual but around 11 am..because the venue was close to my house at four lanes,its just a 50 naira drive
On getting there,the loaders and sound guys had finished set ups remaining each musician to a sound check on his instrument,
I noticed my guitar strings were bad,so.i r rused to a guitar shop located in a place called nyong Essien,after that i returned to the venuesat down and fiixed the strings,network is goving me issuea here that why i cannot upload tbe picture s in details,after that i called the sound engineer to come mix my guitar for and he came,did it perfectly and i was set for the event,but the event didtnt start do i had to look for place,sited and relaxed,till about 4pm,people started coming ,within split seconds,the place was filled with human beign,we started entertaining them wuth good music as usual,till the Mc annnounced to start the occasion officially,which he did by pm
Every agender of the occasion went succesfully,the newly weded couple were very happy, trust me when Bride appeared,oh Lord
i felt like i should get married the next day,I
lost concentration untill i played was not there on the song we were playing,because the lady was very beauriful,untill my drummer shouted Melo! That was when i came back to my real senses and behaved normal as though nothing had happened but i still thank God that soon i will do mine and someone else will wish he was the one ..lol ,and i had joy too for them,the occasion lasted for one hour 29min..we closed and left the place,after that we entered motor,and i told myself that i will sure i share with you my friend what was that which kept me busy,
So i returned to my house this night,the day was great,a nice day so far,thanks for being there
