RE: The Taxonomy of Collapse ~ Charles Hugh Smith … (Death of the Dollar–13) with Link to Full Story

Good morning @majes.tytyty

Taxonomy? Is that real word? I've never heard that term before.

The only way to repay that massive debt is to debauch the currency.
I'm not sure what does it mean. I used google translator and word 'debauch' doesnt seem to make much sense :(

Correct me if I'm wrong - but is there even one currency out there in the world, that would last longer than 1 century? more than 100 years? Based on my limited knowledge - all FIAT currencies are ment to collapse and die at some point. Constant growth is a must in order to keep fiat currency alive. And constant growth is not possible.

Another interesting read. Upvote on the way :)

Yep, it's a word ...
taxonomy -- noun (BIOLOGY) = the branch of science concerned with classification, especially of organisms; systematics.

As for fiat currencies, none last forever, and most last less than a century. Considering the long run that the US$ has experienced, its days are numbered, and the end is near.

As for my promise to you to look into a curation trail for ProjectHope, I've been rather busy these past few days, to I have not even been able to think about it. I'll try to reread your directions in your mail this weekend, and try to set up the curation trail.

Cheers!
