Greetings Fine Felines and Hoomans of Steemlandia!

It is the weekend once again and that means Caturday, my favorite day of the week! "Caturday on Saturday" is an old web tradition for sharing cat pictures on Saturdays.

Life has gone back to its normal routine around here after our problems with the frozen and exploding water pipe last week, and now the Son-Hooman has gone back to Seattle so the house is quite quiet again. This weekend, it's even more quiet because the Mom-Hooman has gone to Seattle to visit her daughter.

So the Dad-Hooman and I are enjoying quiet time today, as he works on his hobbies and blogging and I supervise to make sure he's doing it properly!

The Dad-Hooman has been washing stones to paint on. I am helping!

Winter seems to have loosened its grip a little bit and it is now considerably warmer than it was just a week ago, and a quiet rain is falling. I don't mind the rain, since I am an indoor cat, and days like today are good for laying in a warm snuggly basket and taking a good long nap!

The Hoomans have once again been talking about adding a new kitten to the household... maybe this time it will actually happen! It has been a while since we have had a young creature around here.

We're all also a little worried about my very fuzzy housemate Smudge who is really starting to show her age. Sad as it is, we're concerned that she is not long for this world. After all, she's 17... which is a fine old age for a cat.

Meanwhile, our aging dog Daisy has already lived about three years past her expected lifespan... she's a bit senile, but otherwise seems to be reasonably OK. She has been my buddy when we have previously been "between cats."

Smudge, during better times...

Anyway, I hope the minor comeback the crypto markets are trying to stage will actually turn into something and "hold" for a while. It gets a little frustrating when it feels like every rally we have turns into a downturn, instead.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way!
