Greetings, Fine Felines and Hoomans of Steemlandia!

It's Caturday once more, and around here we're enjoying a nice long weekend because Thursday was also the Thanksgiving holiday, here in the USA!

On Thursday, we had a house filled with people — well, six of them — so I mostly kept to myself. But eventually, I found my courage and emerged to "mingle" with our guests!

Of course, there were also extra treats for the cats! The Mom-Hooman found us some extra turkey nibbles after the Hooman visitors had gone... and that was really nice!

Checking to see if the coast is clear!

We've been having uncommonly sunny weather for this time of the year... which means some great sunny spots for napping! The Hoomans are very happy about it, as well, because it means they have to spend less of their money on the heating bill!

The days do seem to be getting quite short, though... on a cloudy day, it is almost dark by 4:30pm now, and we still have almost a month of it getting darker, before the sun turns again.

Why a Cat Blog?

I haven't really talked very much about this, but one of the reasons we decided to make a cat blog on Steemit was for the purpose of having some relatable content here.

Cats are a pretty "universal" sort of topic/interest, and it only made sense, as a counterpoint to all the crypto/blockchain type content people post here.

It won't be long before we will have been doing this for six years!

Crypto Markets Got Nervous...

2023 really seems to have been a year of "troubling news" in the Cryptosphere. This past week it was "The Binance Thing" that seemed to grind the gears to a halt.

As I write these words, though, I'm glad to see that our own Steem token is off on another of its "mini rallies." Those seem to have become more frequent over the past couple of months.

It's also nice that the token is still hanging on above $0.25!

Not much left of 2023, now... soon it will be time to close out the year, and to set some new plans and goals for 2024!

I wonder what sort of year we will have? I wonder if this will become the year of the next bull market? Of course, I can't set goals around that... I'm more interested in continuing to build my SteemPower balance! I wonder how far I can get?
