My very furry housemate Smudge turned 19 years old this past week!

19 is a very old age for a cat, indeed... equivalent to more than 90 years of age in Hooman years! Yes, she is very much starting to show her age these days... she mostly sleeps, and doesn't eat very much anymore.

It is the way of very old creatures, but we are grateful for every day we have with Smudge!

We're having a mostly quiet weekend. The Mom-Hooman isn't feeling entirely well, so the cats are hanging out with her quite a bit when she is sitting and reading her book, or watching television.

Hopefully, she'll get to feeling better quickly, because the Hoomans are having multiple guests this coming week, which means the house will be very busy again!

Meanwhile, the Dad-Hooman is very busy with his artwork because he's about to start some "activity challenge" that will keep him busy for the next three months.

I suppose that' s a pretty good idea, as the more money the Hoomans make, the better the chances that there will be a ready supply of cat treats!

Exploring...

Of course, we're also quite happy that the price of our Steem token is going up a bit again after that rather uncomfortable decline, recently.

Last I checked, we were getting pretty close to $0.24 again... and I really hope we get back above $0.30 again, before not too long.

Seems like we have good reasons to feel positive about Steemit in the times ahead, with new developments happening and the community once again growing in activity!

Meanwhile, I'm just steadily plodding along towards my next Steemit goal of reaching 2,500 Steem Power, which shouldn't be too far away.
