Greetings Fine Felines and Hoomans of Steemlandia!

Looks like winter is upon us, in earnest! Yesterday, we had a bunch of white stuff fall down from the sky and it suddenly got extremely cold around here... much colder than we are used to.

It is at times like these that I am very grateful to be an indoor cat!

But enough about the weather... we have arrived at the weekend, and today is Caturday, my favorite day of the week. Of course, around here almost all days feel like Caturday!

At least we had some nice sunshine today, so I could find a few small sunny spots, here and there!

Glad to be inside!

Cold weather is really not my thing... the Hoomans have sometimes found me burrowed under the blankets on their bed. It's nice and dark, and also really warm!

Thankfully the snow isn't supposed to be with us for very long... the weather-Hoomans say that it's going to start raining on Wednesday, and then it will all be gone within a day or so.

I prefer the sun on my belly!

Curator Cat and Steemit in 2024

I've been giving more thought to what we can do with this blog on 2024... something beyond just a weekly Caturday post... well, most weeks.

Mostly, I just want to look at content and try to find more people who post about their pets, and encourage them. That means upping my engagement game.

It would be nice if the price of Steem went a little higher so I could leave people upvotes beyond the "dust limit," but I guess it's OK, as long as other people have voted the post higher.

Just can't give upvotes on comments, quite yet.

Engagement does matter. I was looking at my final numbers for 2023, and I left shamefully few comments for people, compared to the past. But if Steemit is to ever get back to it previous activity levels, we need to do a lot better with the interaction game!

So, those are just some initial thoughts.
