Happy Easter Caturday From Curator Cat!

Greetings Fine Felines and Hoomans of Steemlandia!

Guess what? It's the weekend once again, and it is Saturday and Saturday means Caturday,day my favorite day of the week!

In addition, it seems like you Hoomans are celebrating something you're calling "Easter," so happy Easter to you!

And so, it seems that we have reached the end of the month of March! Not only have we made it through another month, we have made it through the first quarter of 2024!

I suppose it has been a bit of a mixed blessing for many, but I am glad that our Steem token seems to be doing fairly well, all things considered.

I know you Hoomans talk a lot about something called "altcoin season," and I hope that comes along as well because it seems to make you happy. And happy Hoomans seems to result in more treats for the cats!

I'm just happy to be here and participating in my small limited way, and I'm looking forward to continuing to build my little "savings account" here. I like the idea that we have an emergency backup in case something bad happens and we have unexpected vet bills!

The Hoomans are always talking about "how expensive" everything in the world has gotten, so I am happy to be a cat who earns his keep... and I don't just mean catching small rodents!

At home we've been having a quiet weekend so far, but now the Dad-Hooman is leaving to go pick up the Mom-Hooman at the ferry terminal, because she went to visit the Daughter-Hooman in Seattle, across the water, for a few days.

I'm looking forward to having both Hoomans back in the house, because that means there are more hands to pay attention to the cats!

Speaking of cats, our Smudge — she's SO fuzzy — is now in the middle of her spring shed season. That means she is depositing all kinds of cat hair everywhere around and we frequently find little blobs of hair in unexpected places. One of them was so large the other day that I thought it was a mouse that had gotten loose in the house!

Lately, I've been looking at the many ways in which cats are celebrated around the internet, and I have found it remarkable how we have become the "Unofficial Mascots" of the digital world!

I also discovered that there are special celebratory days for so many different kinds of cats and celebrations of cats.

As I have mentioned before, I am interested in developing more cat and pet content for our Steemit community, so I thought that maybe one of the ways I could contribute would be to write about some of these cats celebratory days when they come up!

What a rip-off! These are not REAL flowers!

So that's one of my plans for the upcoming months.
