We have reached another weekend, and that means Caturday, my favorite day of the week to share cat photos with the world! If you have a cat — or several — in your world, why not take some pictures and share them with the world?

Six Years on Steemit!

So today — March 9th — marks my 6th anniversary of joining Steemit and starting this cat blog!

It has definitely been an interesting — and occasionally bumpy — journey, but I'm happy to be able to say that we have been doing this pretty much without interruptions, ever since!

"Curator Cat" was born because we felt having some cats would offer a nice counterpoint to the (at the time) heavily technical, crypto and blockchain oriented content being published.

Napping in the sun is one of my favorite things!

Cats are quite possibly the most popular animals on the Internet, and Caturday actually has pretty "nerdy" roots, back in some of the image boards on mega-forum 4chan, some 20 years ago.

In the intervening six years, we have shot thousands of photos, and occasionally had guest appearances from Kramer, BeBe (no longer with us) and more recently Smudge!

I see birds, out there!

As I create today's update, we have written almost 500 top level posts, and left almost 5,000 comments on posts around the Steemit community! That's not too bad for someone without opposable thumbs!

This, according to @steemchiller's wonderful Steemworld.org web site, without which life around here would be quite difficult!

Thankfully, I have the Dad-Hooman here to help me publish my blog, and the Mom-Hooman is always waving that "phone" thingie in my face... so we will never run out of fresh photos!

Of course, we hop to continue for many more years!

Buggy Steemit, but we Keep Going!

Seems there are some issues with the Steemit web site these days, comments and votes not displaying correctly and sometimes there are delays, but we're going to keep going on good faith.

Seems like most of it "corrects itself" once the initial 7-day period has passed.

I do hope someone is working to fix the problems, though!

Steem Token Nearing $0.35!

It has definitely been very nice to see our Steem token rising this month, and now getting close to $0.35! It's had to believe that there was a time when Steem was twenty TIMES that much... even if just for a very short while.

If we are really starting the front end of a new "bull market run," it'll be very interesting to see where we end up, this time! I just hope they fix the web site before a bunch of new people show up and want to participate!

We do want to leave a good impression!

With that thought, I must get back to my naptime!
