Which cake do you prefer and why?
I like chocolate cake and I always prefer this because everyone likes chocolate, I'm chocolate lover due to some health problem I avoid chocolate and surgery item but whenever I want to buy or order even bake the cake I only prefe chocolate cake with dark chocolate glaze, whenever I backed a cake at home i used dark chocolate for it's topping. chocolate is something which always changed my mood.
What is your favorite cake that you make at home? If making it at home then what kind of items are required to make this cake and what is the procedure?

If ordering from outside then which brand of cake you order. And share how much it costs in your country's money and how much steem you get when converted to steem.
I was used to baked a cake at home but due to health issues and insulin levels high I can't baked at home now 😭 but I really enjoyed baking if I backed I eat 😋 so it's better for me to avoid somedays but now one bakery is all time favorites they have ana amazing cake range and quality is amazing its "Kababjees Bakers" they have lots of variety and flavor of cake, I personally like German fudge flavor I have some screenshots of their website you can see here the variety.

As you can see the variety it's just not enough a lot more there all the flavor is amazing they provide lots of bakery item and they have also Sundae which is a cup of flavor mousse and some cake and flavor topping the price if the cake is minimum1500 PKR and 33.26 in steem And the price goes up accordingly to the flavor and pounds and they also made customize cakes and take orders for birthdays. The best thing is now it's open near to my house now and they have branches all over the Pakistan. Here is the location of new opened bakery near to my house.
What special occasions do you usually make or order cakes at home?
Mostly I baked cakes on husband or mine birthday, but now I prefer in every get together I served cake I ordered from my favorite bakery as I mentioned before its time saving. I love to give surprise people on their birthday so always I take cake for them on their birthdays and special occasions now on our festivals like Eid, engagement and others occasion people prefy cake instead sweets. So I prefer in all occasions now. I have ordered on my birthday. Here are some pictures.

Why do you think cake is so popular compared to other desserts?
Because everyone likes cake now specially kids and it's less sugary instead of sweets ,every age group like it, and it's time saving dessert so it's convenient for the gathering when you have less time manage everything . And when we have an option so why not avail it in Pakistan now people take cakes on engagement wedding and reception ceremony because it's looks different dessert 🎂 we can serve cake on tea time , on night as a sweet dish and every gathering. When we go to any relative and friends house we buy came for them. These are some cake which I backed at home for anniversary and birthday.

Amiga el pastel de chocolate es el preferido de muchos he leido varios post donde lo han elegido, tu misma preparabas esos ricos pasteles de chocolate pero por problemas de salud ya no los preparas, el pastel se puede compartir no solo en fiestas, tambien como dices en tu post

Yummy cakes baked by you, i remember you bought cooking range some time ago for baking, i also faced the same problem of insulin resistant and took medicine to low its resistant, after weight loss i was able to control this pre diabetic situation, i left every sweet to eat from one year😂but two days ago i ate it on a birthday 😂i prefer to eat crispy jalebi when i crave for sweet😁.
Yeah same situation I have also lost 10 kgs in two months 😂 I left all Gandi Gandi cheezyn 5 Waly papar or toffees tab jakar craving khatam hui🥲

Cakes occupy such a place in our menu these days that we feel remiss if cake is not a main menu item at any celebration.
