District Lake, Tangail

One of the most beautiful landmarks of Tangail city is District Lake. It gets filled with water during the rainy season, but tourists come here at other times. When I went, it was the rainy season and there was water all around, so all the lakes looked green. Different tourists come here at different times from different places, so when I went, it was morning. There is always a flow of people here from morning to night, especially in the afternoon, many people come and hang out here. There are two separate lines for entry and exit, and there is a huge gate.

Since this lake is managed by the government, you will be given a ticket for a small fee to enter here. So you must purchase one ticket from the ticket counter. There is a ticket counter next to the gate from where you can purchase as many tickets as you want. I went with my friend so I purchased two tickets. The price of 2 tickets is 20 taka or 1.5 steem.

This is an entertainment children's park and adult park. Here, everyone from small children to adults and the elderly can come and share their joy. But most of the time, adult boys and girls come here more. I went with my friend, so I took pictures every now and then and had fun. Next to me, I saw some animal statues that I wanted to take pictures of. Here I saw a monkey statue, a deer statue, an eagle statue, and a tiger statue. Each statue is placed in a place and children can take pictures from here.

So if you go a little further from there, you will see a huge road which is made entirely of stones. Standing here, you can take pictures amidst the natural beauty. Below this, there is a huge pond where there are small boats. You can rent the boats on an hourly basis.

Anyway, I did not go to the boat sector, I just stood in this floating place. There is a huge apartment in front of here which can be seen floating from a distance. Then I want to sit and chat, watch the fish in the pond, eat various foods. From outside, you can see the colorful pond water. Steel boundaries have been given on one or two sides so that the children do not fall.

Children come here for picnics to see the natural beauty and to ride boats. I think it is the best place to spend some time with friends, relatives and family. Since it is located in the middle of Tangail city, this place is a little far from the hustle and bustle of the city and is able to relieve the fatigue of all people. Sometimes different parties are organized here and different celebrities are brought there to inaugurate. So I stood in the middle of the natural beauty and took a few pictures.

As I stand at this spot

There is a huge pond here which we call a lake. This is the only big pond in Tangail District, that is why it is named Tangail District Lake. If you look up there, you can see it and you can go around in a beautiful boat. Besides, you can go underground to see the fish on the water in the huge floating apartment in front. If you want, you can feed the fish with nuts, chips, etc. You can spend time sitting underground with friends and family.
