Betterlife - The Diary Game | 18 October, 2024 | A relaxing day off...

Today, I'm going to share some of the wonderful activities I did on my day off. After waking up, freshening up, and having breakfast, I went to our rooftop garden. We've planted quite a few winter vegetables there, which now require special care.

The bean plants have grown quite tall and their vines have become very long, growing longer every day. I hope we'll see blossoms on the bean plants very soon. I removed the old sticks and tied new, stronger ones to the bean plants so that the vines could climb higher. I spent the morning tending to the garden.

Once I was done with gardening, I opened my laptop and reviewed some community posts. Then after completing other community tasks, I took a short break and went to the kitchen for something to eat. My mom had fried chips for snacks today. They looked a lot like store-bought packaged chips.

My mom buys these chips raw from a street vendor by the kilogram and fries them occasionally for us as a snack. After completing the remaining tasks and taking a shower, I went to the mosque to perform today's Friday prayers.

Since today was Friday, I didn't want to waste this day off. So, I planned to go somewhere and enjoy the afternoon. The best place to enjoy the afternoon is the beach, so I went out with my two friends to enjoy the beauty of Akilpur beach.

I’ve been to this beach countless times, but it always feels new. The beauty of the beach changes with the weather. Today's weather was perfect for enjoying. When I reached the beach, the tide was just coming in.

So, I went as close to the shore as possible and sat down to enjoy the sea. The sound of the ocean waves from so close made my ears vibrate. I was able to enjoy a breathtaking sunset at the end of the afternoon.

We stayed at the beach until almost dusk, and then we returned home before nightfall. On the way back, we had our afternoon snack at a food shop. Then, without delay we went directly to our mosque.

On a specific day of the Arabic calendar every month, our local mosque holds a monthly Gausya Sharif, where the attending Muslims recite various surahs and verses from the Quran. I try to participate in this program every month.

After completing all my prayers at 8 pm, I returned home. After freshening up and having dinner, I started writing this post about today's activities. As of today I'm leaving here. Wish you all good health, everyone.
