Al Hera Library Tongi, Gazipur
Hello..!!
My Dear Friends,
I am @tanvirahammad10 from #Bangladesh 🇧🇩
Books are the ocean of history, civilization, religion, philosophy, morality, consciousness and human life. And the field of Islamic books is especially a field where people not only read, but also get the right direction for their actions, conduct and life. People usually choose books of this genre for the purpose of faith, faith, moral improvement and self-purification. And when such a knowledge-rich source is found in a madrasa-centric area, it is a blessing for students.
Alhera Library is a small yet very influential book center next to Tamirul Millat Kamil Madrasa. Although it is a small shop, the well-organized book collection inside it, the silent window of knowledge, and the religious atmosphere have elevated this library to a more special status.
Where is it located and how to get here?

Alhera Library is located next to Tamirul Millat Kamil Madrasa. The location of this place is set in such a way that if a madrasa student or someone suddenly goes to look for a new reference book, they can find it very close. After crossing the gate of the madrasa, one can walk a few steps to this library. Since the area is completely developed in an environment of students-teachers and Islamic education, the interest in books, values, and the importance of knowledge can be felt easily in anyone here.
You can easily reach here by rickshaw, CNG, bus, or any local transport. The people around also know this library so well that if you ask for the location, they will quickly explain the way.
A brief history of the place, Founder, established period, if there is any communication medium.
Alhera Library was established mainly with the aim of spreading Islamic knowledge and delivering books of correct, authentic sources to the people in a beautiful way. The founder is a person who himself reads, collects books, and believes in his heart that in order to spread knowledge, books must be made easily available. As a result of his personal dream, patience, hard work and long-term desire, this shop stands today as a pure, reliable Islamic library.
Over the years, the library has not only become a place of business, but also a center of trust for those seeking knowledge. The sincerity that exists among the people here is not found in many other bookstores.
Provide clear details about their activities. How many employees are engaged in what work?
There are 2 main staff members working here. One is in arranging books, maintaining racks, categorizing newly arrived books and supporting delivery. The other mainly handles bills, pricing, giving guidelines to customers about books and handling payments.
The staff is very calm and patient. Which book is by which author? Which one can be used in the syllabus? Which one will strengthen the foundation if read? Even if you ask questions like this, they explain very easily without getting annoyed.
What are the facilities like?
The shop is not very big. But the environment is cool, clean and gives peace of mind to read books. There is good lighting inside, there is a fan, there is no AC, but the space is open in such a way that even the heat does not bother you much. The books are arranged according to the racks, so it is possible to find them quickly. You can also take your time to choose a book by looking at the print quality, paper, binding.
What kind of books are available there? Which book did you purchase? It is better to present it with the price.
The main focus of the books here is Islamic-based books. Notable among these are—
Sahih Hadith Granth
Aqeedah
Adab
Islamic History
Sirah
Tasawwuf
Tafsir
Arabic learning
| Books Name | Price (BDT) | Price Steem |
|---|---|---|
| Sahih Hadith Granth | 500 | 50 |
| Aqeedah | 450 | 45 |
| Adab | 220 | 22 |
| Islamic History | 700 | 70 |
| Sirah | 300 | 30 |
| Tafsir | 900 | 90 |
| Arabic learning books | 685 | 68.5 |
I myself bought the Bengali translation of Sahih Muslim from here for about 450 taka. The paper, cover, binding, letter print of the book. Everything is of a very good standard. The quality is really very good for the price.
Tell us about the payment method there
Cash transactions are usually more common here. And many times when you ask if you can pay with bKash, Nagad, Rocket, they confirm and accept most of the time. I personally paid for the book directly in cash.
One very beautiful thing about Alhera Library is that it is not just a commercial bookstore. Here, knowledge is given dignity, books are respected and guidelines are given to the reader with sincerity. In the modern era, the book market has become dependent on "sales" in many places, but Alhera Library emphasizes the inner value of books. This place is truly a unique success address for those who read books with their hearts, who want to deepen their faith knowledge, who want to find true Islamic resources. This small, quiet library next to Tamirul Millat Kamil Madrasa is facilitating the path of hundreds of students to seek knowledge every day.
In today's technological era, people are moving away from books in the crowd of Google, Internet and apps. However, the safest source of accurate, authentic, reliable, reference-based knowledge is still books. That's why places like Alhera Library are not just sold; rather, faith, character, morality, and correct ideas are handed over to people through books. This is undoubtedly very beneficial for society, education, and the young generation. If you love Islamic books, then Alhera Library is definitely worth a visit.
