🏵️THE DIARY GAME 🏵️

After the long December vacation, I was on my way back to Dhaka. The bus at 8 am. It was a winter morning, sitting by the foggy window and curling up. My eyes closed shortly after leaving the bus. I didn't realize when the morning had passed and it had become afternoon in my sleep. When I woke up, the bus had entered the hustle and bustle of Dhaka. After a while, I reached Mirpur.

As soon as I got off at Mirpur, a familiar feeling came over me. I had lived in this area before. There were still some things in my previous house. Even though the new address was Mohakhali, I couldn't help but take them with me. So I went straight there. The old house. A touch of memory all around. For a while, it felt like time had stopped a bit.

But the reality was different. There were a lot of things, it was impossible to take them alone. That's when I remembered my friend Shaheen. He answered the phone as soon as I called. He came in a short while. Shaheen and I arranged for a CNG together. Picking up things, tidying up—everything is a busy affair. It's as if the old things have started their journey towards a new life. The CNG rushes towards Mohakhali. Amidst the ever-familiar traffic jams, noise, and crowds of people of Dhaka, we reach our new address.

I reach the gate of the new mess and call the mess brothers. The gate opens, and the first scene of the new chapter begins.

Entering the room, I see everything empty. Empty room, empty walls. Yet, strangely, it seems that many stories of the future will be written here. I leave my things in a corner and stand for a while. New place, new environment. A mixture of mild excitement and unknown feelings in my mind.

I go to college in the afternoon. I sit there for a while. Meeting friends, familiar environment. The fatigue of the day seems to lighten a little. Evening falls as I spend time sitting on the college campus.

I didn't have a match for the mess today. So I have to get dinner from outside. Chicken chap and naan bread. After a long day of fatigue, this simple meal is also quite satisfying. After eating, I slowly return to my room.

I come to my room at night and relax. Traveling all day, moving things, trying to adapt to a new place. All in all, the day was very busy. Still, a kind of satisfaction works. Because today is not just a journey, but a day of preparation for a new life.

Thus, the car journey, the cooperation of my friend Shaheen, setting foot in the new house. All in all, my return to Dhaka after December was a memorable day.
