Betterlife // The Diary Game [Date: 12 February 2026 ] I enjoyed the first national election of my life in a festive atmosphere
Hello..!!
My Dear Friends,
I am @tanvirahammad10 from #Bangladesh 🇧🇩
Hello my dear steemit friends. I hope you are all well by the grace of Allah, I am also well Alhamdulillah. I am here with a new post again, welcome to my new post, I hope you will like my post. so let's start........
The national election is an important milestone in the democratic progress of Bangladesh. The experience of participating in the 2026 national election as an informed citizen and a first-time voter will remain a memorable chapter in my life.
We were on alert since the early hours of the morning on the election day. The aim was to ensure that no one could illegally occupy the polling station and that ordinary voters could exercise their right to vote in a safe environment. This guarding activity was carried out out of a sense of responsibility to maintain a peaceful and orderly electoral environment.
We took up positions in the camp since morning. These activities continued, including issuing public vote slips, providing necessary information to voters, and encouraging them to come to the polling station. Voting began at 8 am in a joyful atmosphere. The spontaneous presence of voters enlivened the atmosphere of the center.
All the team leaders of our “Dharipalla” symbol were contacted and their presence at the polling station was ensured. As a result of coordinated efforts, the overall activities were well-organized.
Around noon, I myself stood in the voting line. The feeling of voting for the first time in my life was beyond words to express. When I came out after entering the polling booth and casting my ballot, I felt that I had truly fulfilled my duty as an active citizen of the state.
After the polling ended in the afternoon, the vote counting began. We stood outside the center and waited for the results. In the evening, the results were announced—
Daripalla: 1304 votes
Sheaf of rice: 578 votes
As soon as the results were announced, there was a jubilation among the supporters.
Later, we went to the Kotchandpur Upazila office to collect the results. From there, positive results continued to come consistently. Finally, the candidate with the scale symbol, Matiur Rahman, won the Jhenaidah-3 constituency by a margin of 26,000 votes.
This election was the first direct participatory experience of my life. The entire day-long activities, from the early morning preparations, to the support of voters, to casting one's vote and the moment of the announcement of the results, were all a festive and proud day.
The beauty of democracy is that the people's verdict is the final word. As a citizen, I have realized that.Conscious participation is the foundation of building a strong state. Thus, I enjoyed the first national election of my life in a festive atmosphere.
Thank you very much for reading my post, let me know how you liked it in the comments. Thanks again everyone, stay well.
Best Regards
