Dear Justin You Made a Mistake [POEM]
Dear Justin you made a mistake
A very big one I would say,
You took something you can't take
But this community won't just obey.
You called on your "friends"
Keepers of our steem,
Knowing how this ends,
Ruining our dream.
But you can't take what is not yours
You can't control what we think,
So, start looking for the cures
Cause you're destroying Steemit Inc.
We could've been collaborating
Building this platform as a team,
And while, like fools, we were just waiting
You tried to steal what we call Steem.
Like spartans we'll resist
Defending our freedom,
But if you insist
We'll abandon ship.
And without us, all you have is code
So, let's find a solution,
Before things explode
Let's choose growth instead of revolution.
If you care for your stake
And want to grow with us,
Acknowledge your mistake
And let's all sit and discuss.
Right on dude!
This is a great poem sticking it to our wannabe dictator Justin Sun.
He really did waste an opportunity to engage genuinely with the largest active community of content creators in all the crypto-sphere.
I agree with this final verse, but I think his ego is too inflated for any resolution. He won't understand that Ned essentially stole that stern from every user of steem by ninja mining it before the blockchain was public, and Justin just wine accept that and keeps on about the sanctity of private property.
It's a situation that we as a community can win though, with enough solidarity we can take back the top 20 witness spots and get in with improving steem's user experience 🙂
The irony being that Justin Sun would get his ROI in tone of he just let steem develop the path it has been... but he wants to control everything.
Shame!
Thanks for sharing your gr8 poem in The sink Well 🙂
Thank you for your time to read it and comment it! As for Justin, I think that in the end he will try to work with us or he will make a hard fork and we split in a sister chain. But I see any outcome as a win for us!
Yes! What Raj said. 🙂
I love the image of Spartans - reminds me of the movie "300," and how so few warriors fought off so many armies. Only when a traitor gave away their position did they finally fall.
Epic!
