Contest // Topic of the week №46 // How do I prepare for the New Year?
This will be the first Christmas and New Year that we will spend without my father, it will be difficult since his departure was recent and his constant presence.
We did not do any decoration because we are not in a very festive mood, let's say, we are not concentrating more than anything on preparing the typical foods to continue with the traditions.
Almost all the ingredients are bought, we have the custom of making Hallas which are the typical Christmas dish, along with ham bread and chicken salad.
Day by day we have been preparing and storing the ingredients for Christmas Day and New Year's Eve just having to put everything together.
We are somewhat nostalgic but hey, life is what it is, I hope that the coming year will be less hard than this and that things will improve, not only for me, but for everyone.
We are off to a new beginning and a wonderful start to the year.
