I visited the bus terminal transport station. It is an old bus terminal located in the center of Phulbari upazila of Dinajpur district. This bus terminal is located on the south side of Phulbari to Dinajpur main road, so it is easy to travel here. This bus terminal is open for transportation 24 hours a day and buses from Rangpur, Dhaka, Saidpur and Dinajpur travel from this bus terminal.

If we talk about the facilities in this bus terminal, then there is a small area for women and men to rest separately. Each bus has six reserved seats for women separately. There are several stalls next to it for shopping, from where you can collect the necessary food and water. There is a toilet for both men and women, but it is inside the mosque.

Permission has been given by the bus terminal to use the toilet of the mosque. Due to which passengers can go there and use the toilet in exchange for money. A CCTV camera is installed inside its main counter to keep the parcel safe. Each parcel is given a token number by which the passenger can easily receive the parcel.From this place, most of the buses ply in the local area due to which different types of people travel but most of the people are not aware of technology or they do not use phones.

So here you have to collect tickets from the counter according to the serial number of the bus in exchange for cash only. There are separate tickets for AC buses and the fare has to be paid differently according to their quality. Here, before the bus leaves, the passengers are constantly warned by making noise inside the bus and their parcels are taken on the bus.

If we look at the cleanliness here, we can see several of their works. They have a staff for cleaning here who are mainly hired from the bus counter. The area here is about 500 meters wide, due to which there are several workers for cleaning here. Every day at a certain time they come to this place and sweep and clean it.

However, there is a garden next to this bus terminal, due to which the terminal becomes dirty quickly due to the leaves of the garden. New buses and old buses are cleaned here, due to which the place is often dirty, but it is seen sparkling clean only after a while, all these are done by the cleaning workers. Every afternoon we see this station very clean and tidy.

The aspect of this transport hub that impressed me the most is the ticketing system. Although tickets cannot be purchased online, there is no rush or queue to buy tickets here. There are three to four ticket counters for a bus in small outdoor areas, due to which all passengers can easily purchase tickets. Also, if you are unable to purchase a ticket for any reason, you will be given a ticket inside the bus, so that passengers are not harassed.

There are always 50 to 60 buses standing at this bus terminal, so when it gets dark, they turn on different types of lights, which makes the station look even more beautiful. New buses arrive every day and have different types of lighting setups, which are really amazing to see, and there are lighting arrangements near the passenger seats, which is a great joy for children. For me, the moment when the lights are turned on is the most interesting.
