Introduction

Call it Jumping Jack, Star Jump or Side Straddle, it is a complete body exercise that have a long term health benefits. All major body parts come to work at the same time, the muscles, the heart and the lungs, the glutes, the quadriceps and the hips. They all will be imparted at jumping jacks workout.

Like its counterparts - jumping squat, burpees and box jump - JUMPING JACKS is intended to aid people run at a higher speed. This is because during the exercise, your muscles are stretched out and shortened back fast.

Again, Jumping Jacks not only increase your heart beat but also cause your body to move from its usual motion to another. The more the movement continues rapidly, the more strength and stamina acquired such that you can engage in any other subsequent exercise you want to.
