Some words about the drama in my area a few days ago

Assalamu Alaikum, how are you all? I hope everyone is well. By the infinite mercy of Allah, I am also well. Today I will share with you about the drama of our village.

I still remember that night a few days ago. I had been hearing about a play for a long time, and finally got the chance to see it a few days ago. The experience was truly extraordinary.

The crowd in the field started to grow after dusk. No tickets or anything was needed, this was an open-air event for everyone. Seeing so many people and the interest in their faces and eyes filled my heart. It felt like a festival was about to begin. Everyone was eagerly looking at the stage, and that collective anticipation gave the whole atmosphere a different dimension. The stage was decorated very simply, but the smell of our soil was hidden in that decoration. The colorful lights and bamboo structures—all together created a very sincere atmosphere.

As the play began, all the noise around stopped for a moment. The artists were portraying their characters so wonderfully that it seemed as if everything was happening right before our eyes. Their fluent acting, great manner of speaking dialogues, and costumes—everything was created very skillfully. The story of the play was about the life and society around us, which easily touched the hearts of the audience. As the story progressed, I felt like I was becoming a part of that story. I didn't realize when the clock had turned so fast.

Even after the play ended, I kept looking at the stage for a long time. The audience was still sitting, many were discussing the scenes of the play. When I went outside, I saw that the atmosphere was quite lively even though it was late at night. Small shops were still open on one side of the road. Muri-Murki, pakoras and tea-biscuits were being sold in the dim light. Everyone seemed to be returning home with a pure joy. That night, I realized how much joy a truly good play can bring to people.

Such a beautiful and open folk play experience is truly unforgettable. Thank you very much for the joy the artists gave us through their work. I will remember that night for a long time.
