SLC30-W1 | “Potato Magic Challenge” : Potato Snack / Potato chop
Assalamu Alaikum everyone, how are you all? I hope everyone is well. I am also well and healthy by the grace of Allah. Today I have come to you with another new post. After seeing this week's recipe competition, I have decided that I will definitely participate in the recipe competition. I really liked the main theme of this competition. Where it is said to make potato snacks or potato chops. So I have made potato chops here which I like very much. Although in the past month of Ramadan, we have been making potato chops every day for iftar and eating them which is very much liked by all of us. So I have come to you with the recipe for making potato chops. I hope you like it. I always like eating potato chops. But in the month of Ramadan, it is actually eaten every day and it is much more fun to eat it every day.

First, I took two potatoes. I washed them well and cut them with their skins. After cutting them, I boiled them in a pan with water for 15 to 16 minutes.
At this stage, I cooled the potatoes by placing them in cold water, then peeled the boiled potatoes very carefully and then put them in a bowl.
Then I mashed the potatoes thoroughly with my hands. Then I added a good amount of chopped onion and salt, turmeric and chili powder. After adding all the ingredients, I mixed them well.
At this stage, I took a cup of gram flour in a bowl. Then I added half a cup of rice flour to the eggplant. Then I added a generous amount of salt and turmeric powder.
At this stage, I added chili powder and spices, then I added half a teaspoon of garlic paste.
Then I made the mixture with water and at this stage I added a spoonful of baking powder. After adding the baking powder, I mixed everything well again.
At this stage, I took the potato mixture and made it into very small pieces using my hands.
I heated a sufficient amount of oil in a pan. Then I dipped the potato mixture into the gram flour mixture, coated it well with gram flour, and after the oil was hot, I added it to the pan to fry.
I fried all the potato chops in the same way. The potato chops look very tempting after being fried until golden brown.

Actually, potato chop is a dish that I like to eat a lot. That's why I sometimes make this light chop at home. Also, when we have the month of Ramadan, this potato chop is made at home every day and I make it myself. It has been made and eaten every day for the past month. In other words, it is always made at our house and we eat it very much. It is not that difficult to make. It is a delicious dish made by boiling potatoes, which is very fun to eat but also feels good to make.
