Why I Am Still Here - The Beautiful Dream Is Over?

When I saw the post of @theycallmedan I was scared! I thought ... if even one of the most devoted to this platform asks this, it means it's bad.

Then I saw that it was not a question and I calmed down. Even I enjoyed it launched the issue, a good opportunity to find out why our colleagues to continue on this boat floating on a very nervous sea.

So why am I still here ...

 
I've written about why I'm here. On that occasion, I made a calculation and found out that I have been in Steemit for almost 1000 days and nights! I was missing a bit, at first, when I was tempted to give up, to quit.

Yes, after a few months I wanted to give up because I thought I wasn't getting the attention and reward I thought I deserved.

I gave up the idea (with in-house support, @dswigle could say a little) and here it's 1000 days. I cannot believe it!

When I found out about Steemit, when I entered Steemit I did it for the money. Until then I tried several ways to make money online, without success, of course.

I learned pretty quickly what I had to do to get rewards. First of all, I write quality blogs. Because I am not a good English speaker, I had to try to improve my language skills. I had to choose to write blogs where I would put a lot of photos (that is, to use less text) and I had to learn photographic techniques.

I discovered after a while that it is not enough to make quality blogs if nobody reads them! I learned that only interacting with others brings more eyes to the blog and more votes.

I learned many other things and noticed that I forgot my interest with which I started. To make money!

So this is why I'm still here and I will be as long as Steemit exists (within my biological limits).

I'm here to learn, for the pleasure of creating something, for friends. If there will ever be money, so much the more, but this is no longer a goal!

I didn't say anything about the blockchain, Steem, crypt currencies ... I'm not a specialist, I don't know much and I think if you don't know something well ... better shut up.

It can be reproached that I am not aware, from my ignorance, of the dangers and the difficult period through which our platform passes.

I leave those qualified to deal. I help as much as I can by following their advice!

Steemit seems to be likened to an ocean. I think it can be likened to a hive! With specialized groups and communities. Like a hive, queen and drones there. Most who work and produce honey, but also those who defend them from attacks and enemies.

Each one with its contribution that this place exists! Thus the title question receives a No in answer.
