RE: Insurance Activity in Times of Covid
This is kinda serious. If 20k-30k will be a cost for treatment, isn't that much for a citizen at Venezuela considering the economical situation? Health and we'll being is one of the major cause of living. And in such a case of covid, what will an average financial life man do if him or one of his relative eventually ended up with COVID-19?.
Greetings, dear friend @benie111.
Getting sick with covid in Venezuela can be practically considered a death sentence.
Hospitals do not have the necessary supplies or equipment to care for a patient with covid.
Simply, the relatives take their patients to die in the hospital. I recently lived it with the case of my beloved Uncle Francisco, who passed away.
Currently my uncle Martín is convalescing, recovering from the covid. He no longer has the virus in his body, but the negative effects caused by the disease mean that he must breathe oxygen constantly. A bottle of oxygen costs 3 USD and only lasts 24 hours.
