No 1 Milk

It is also very important to note that milk does not contain a lot of iron. Although there are rich nutritional minerals such as calcium, protein, vitamin B12, and vitamin D a common feature of whole milk, it lacks the iron content in comparison to other foods. A cup of cow’s milk, for example, supplies approximately 0.1mg of iron, whereas the recommended daily iron intake for children is 7 to 10mg/day, For adulthood the recommended amount of daily iron intake ranges from 8 to 18mg/day depending on age and gender.

It is in a class of nutrients known as the trace elements, and is essential in producing hemoglobin for carrying of oxygen in the blood. Those who drink lots of mil, children in particular, may suffer from iron deficiency anemia if the amount of food containing iron is low. This condition causes such health complications such as fatigue, weakness and developmental problems.

It is important for people who drink milk to also ensure that they take iron containing foods such as meat, lentils, spinach, beans and cereals that have been fortified with iron. Also, to improve the absorption of non-heme iron, it is recommended to have a food containing vitamin C alongside a food containing iron.

Therefore, though milk is healthy and good for human consumption should not be depended on in sourcing for iron. Healthy human diet requires intake of a variety of foods that is required to provide iron to the body.

No 2 Raisins: A Rich Source of Iron

Raisins are known as nature’s candy and are actually dried grapes that are full of tasty nutrients! Of these, they have high - iron content which make them foods to include especially for those with anemia. Iron is essential in the manufacturing of hemoglobin, a protein within the red blood cells that is responsible for transporting oxygen all through the body. When there are inadequate amounts of iron, the health problem that results is anemia and results in fatigue, weakness, and shortness of breath.

1732771845141.jpg

Heme iron is the mineral is also found in raisins but in the form of non heme iron which is a plant related mineral. Non-heme iron is slightly less readily available to the human body as opposed to heme iron which is present in animal products but its absorption could be improved theoretically when taken at the same time with foods containing vitamin C for examples oranges or tomatoes. One fourth cup of raisins contains 1 milligram of the iron nutrient that is equivalent to 6 percent of the daily requirement for an adult woman and 12 percent of the requirement for an adult man.

Other nutritional benefits of raisins include dietary fiber, antioxidants, and potassium making raisins also beneficial for health. They are so sweet in nature; they may be eaten raw as a snack, and can also be included in cereals, salads, or baked foods. It should be noted that the use of foodstuffs such as raisins may be of value in assisting the development of the needed levels of iron.

No 3 Dates

Dates are rich in nutrition and considered as nature’s richest supply of iron, an important ingredient in the human bod. Iron is needed to build haemoglobin, the protein in red blood cells which is essential in transporting oxygen in the body. Eating dates frequently can enhance the amount of iron in a human body, especially for those patients with iron deficiency anemia. This condition has some symptoms such as fatigue, dizziness, and shortness of breath something that can be solved by going for courses that have iron such as dates.

1732771917694.jpg

Dates are especially good for ladies when pregnant since they enable extending of blood manufacturing and prevent anemia of each the mother and the child. They also serve as energy boosting food items because they contain natural sugars like glucose, fructose and sucrose combined with the energy boosting mineral, iron.

A 100-gram serving of dates contains about 1mg of iron and includes potassium, magnesium and vitamin B6 which play a great role in the body. And they are also rich in fiber content and will help in easy bowel movements thereby eradicating constipation..

Dates eaten as a snack in-between meals or as a supplementary to meals can be very healthy and an effective way of increasing the amount of iron consumed in the diet.

This affords a better supply of oxygen and nutrients to the cells which is useful where blood pressure is low. Cloves also lead to enhanced production of red blood cells hence a resultant increased blood volume and pressure. They also assist in the elasticity of blood vessels – a most valuable asset to pressure regulation.

Black Pepper:

1732728282587.jpg

Black pepper has and used in food preparation due to its ability to promote circulation and balance body energies. It also increases the absorption of naturally necessary activities such as calcium and magnesium which help in controlling blood pressure.
