Name of the childhood game: |
|---|
Well, I think there are many games I played as a child; however, I've decided on the three I think I played the most (in terms of active, outdoor games, not counting video games), which are: "Stop," "La Vieja" (The Old Woman), and "La ere" (You Are).
I think these are the three games I played the most, and that's why I chose them. Although I also played "Hide and Seek" a lot, but less than the three games mentioned above.
Where and with whom did you used to play? |
|---|
I played with a lot of people; most of the time I played with my classmates at elementary school. I had some really good friends back then, and I always enjoyed playing with them.
The truth is, I was almost always alone at home, so I had to make the most of my time at school to have fun.
We usually played "La ere" during recess, since it was a game that required physical effort, and what better time than recess at elementary school, which lasted half an hour. We ran around a lot and ended up very sweaty and exhausted; those were good times.
We played the games Stop and La Vieja in the classroom during a short break or free time. Sometimes I also played them at home with my cousins, but most of the time I played them at school.

Why was this Game special to you? |
|---|
These games were special to me because I had so much fun playing them. As a child, I wasn't very outgoing, and I didn't exercise much; I was rather sedentary. That's why these games were so helpful, because playing "La R" (a game where you draw a letter) gave me exercise at the same time. It's a physically demanding game, but it also requires a certain level of concentration and even trust among teammates.
Both the game called "Stop" (where one person calls out a letter, and everyone else has to write down a name, surname, fruit, city, and so on, that begins with that letter as quickly as possible) and the game called "La Vie" (where each player takes a turn matching a row of three symbols to win) are games that require thinking and help develop a child's mental abilities.

Any funny, emotional, or memorable incident related to the game: |
|---|
There were many wonderful moments in elementary school when my friends and I enjoyed these games. For example, "la ere" is a game where you have to run fast and at high speed. According to the rules, there are one or more safe places that act as a hideout or home base. Everyone takes refuge there while the person who is "la ere" patrols the area, trying to catch any of the other players off guard and tag them anywhere on their body to make them the new "ere."
Once, because I was running too fast and at such a high speed, the teacher took me to the principal's office to sign a book for my bad behavior. I had never signed that book before; I had impeccable behavior, and that was a big shock to me. Everyone else had signed it at some point, but not me. Because of this, I didn't want to play "la ere" anymore for a while, hehehe, although after a few weeks I started playing again with my classmates.

Lessons learned or values learned from playing those games: |
|---|
I think the most important lesson or value learned from these games is teamwork and camaraderie.
The game of "Tag" requires trusting your teammates and forming alliances to avoid being tagged by "Tag." When someone is cornered and in danger, the other teammates try to distract "Tag" by becoming decoys so the cornered teammate can escape.
It's a game that greatly helps foster teamwork and friendship. Meanwhile, the games "Stop" and "Tag" encourage healthy competition among teammates; they are very good games.
I would have loved to recreate the game of "la ere" but I don't have children, nor nephews, there are no children in my house, for that reason I haven't been able to recreate it; however, I think you must have already realized what the game is about and how to play it.
I invite my friends @haidee, @fjjrg, and @karianaporras to join the challenge in its first week.
Best regards.

Greetings,
Thank you so much for participating in the contest.
You used to play some beautiful games as a child. True, this game is not for physical exercise, but it can teach you to think critically and strategize as a child. That's the beauty of our childhood.
Bendiciones.
