In childhood, we liked different types of food, most of those foods were purchased from the market, in childhood we did not like to eat rice very much, we are able to remember those childhood food memories through this competition, all childhood memories give us a lot of joy, we want to go back to childhood again and again, because those happy sweet times never come back in life, today I will share with you about my favorite childhood food.

What childhood food or dish do you still remember clearly, and why is it special to you?

When I was young, I mostly bought chocolate from the store, but my favorite food was puri, singara, and khaja made in hotels. These foods attracted me the most. I especially liked khaja food. One of the reasons I liked this food was that it was sweet, and I loved eating sweet food. I still love eating sweets.

The reason I liked this food is that it was fried in oil and then soaked in sugar syrup. That's why it was chewy and sweet. When I ate khaja, the syrup would stick to my hands. I also liked khaja and singara because potatoes were found in singara. I ate khaja and singara a lot when I was young.

Who usually prepared this food for you, and how did it make you feel at that time?

There was a market in our village, there was a hotel in that market, that hotel used to make khaja and singara, there was a school next to the market, I studied in that school, during school tiffin, I used to buy khaja and singara from that hotel and eat it, sometimes in the afternoon I would go to that hotel and eat khaja and singara, I used to eat this food occasionally.

That feeling at that time was very happy, sometimes I would go to the hotel and stand, I would see that singara and khaja were not yet made, then I would wait to eat it, when the food was ready I would feel very happy, sometimes I would buy the food from the hotel and bring it home and eat it, I liked this food that is why my father would sometimes buy this food and bring it for me.

When and where did you usually eat it (home, school, village, special occasions)?

I usually used to eat this food at the hotel in our village during tiffin in the afternoon. Since I was studying at my father's school, I used to go to the hotel with my father's money at the table and eat singara and khaja. Sometimes, when there was a holiday, I would buy these foods from the hotel and eat them when I came home. Sometimes, when I went to the market in the afternoon, I would eat this food while sitting in the hotel.

What emotions come back when you think about the taste, smell, or moment?

When I think about the taste and smell of singara and khaja, I still feel the emotion of eating them when I was a child sitting in the hotel during tiffin or when I brought a parcel home from the hotel. To remember those childhood memories, if I see singara and khaja somewhere, I still want to eat them there. That's why I still eat khaja and singara sometimes while sitting in the hotel. Today, I was eating singara and gaja while sitting in the hotel and was thinking about my childhood memories.

Is this food still part of your life today, or does it remain only as a memory?

Even though that food is no longer a part of my life but remains a childhood memory, sometimes when I go to a hotel with my friends or our madrasa teachers and there is singara and khaja there, I try to sit there and eat singara and khaja. Although I still eat these foods, I no longer get the taste of those childhood foods. At that time, the prices of these foods were low, but there was no adulteration in these foods. They were prepared with great care.

But now they are made with various unhealthy ingredients, and that taste is no longer available like before. That is why even though I still eat that food, the taste and smell of childhood remains as a memory. Food like the ones I learned in childhood is no longer available anywhere.

I am inviting my three active friends to participate in this beautiful contest, @abdulmomin @sohag10 @ripon009 hope you will participate in this beautiful contest.

Greetings,

Thank you so much for participating in the contest.

Puri, singara, and khaja are traditional foods of our country. You nicely described how much you liked these foods in your childhood, the fun of eating them at familiar local hotels, and the taste and feelings connected to them.

You also rightly mentioned that these foods do not taste the same today as they did before. Nowadays, unhealthy ingredients are often used, which reduces their quality and original flavor.

Overall, you wrote very well. The post would look even better if you added food captions and included only one photo of each item.
