The beauty of the road

1 Where is this street or place located?

This is a road next to College Road in Charhazari Union of Companiganj Upazila of Noakhali District, Bangladesh. The name of this road is 'Panchbari Road' or 'Panchbari Road'. It is located next to the Upazila Connection Road. This extraordinary road in the village is very eye-catching. With rows of Jhau trees on both sides, this road looks incredibly beautiful. And to enjoy the beauty of this road, you can first come here from Bazar Zero in Companiganj Upazila by rickshaw or CNG. This road is located just four kilometers away from the Upazila.

2 What makes this street or area important in the daily life of local people?

This road is very important to the local people. Because people mainly come to the Upazila Connection Road from the scattered houses of the village through this road, and they can actually go to the main city of the Upazila through the Upazila Connection Road. Moreover, the use of this road is essential for their daily work. People mainly use this road for their various purposes. Especially for school, college, madrasa travel, it is a very important road for students. Moreover, there is no alternative route to this road to go within the village. So it is an important road to connect the village with the upazila.

3 What kinds of activities or people can usually be seen there?

This road is a very important road for the public, which I have said before. In fact, this road is usually full of people during office hours or school hours and many students are seen. Moreover, many people are seen on this road in the morning when the people of the village go out for their various works and people are seen on this road during school, college holidays and in the evening. When I took photographs or visited this road, it was noon. So not many people are seen here.

4 How does this place reflect the culture or lifestyle of your area?

This place, that is, this road is very important for the area and this road has become very important mainly to make the lifestyle of the area easier. Especially the small market that is in the union here, people from the village come to this market through this road, do their daily shopping and this road is very important for the students to travel to the schools, colleges, madrasas that are next to the union and has made their lifestyle much easier. The beauty of the trees lined up along the road makes the movement of people on this road more enjoyable. Because it looks very well-decorated and planned and because of which it looks very attractive. On both sides of the road, different houses of the village are connected and there are different crop fields. This road also plays a very important role in harvesting crops from the fields.

5 What story or feeling do you think this place expresses through your photographs?

When I took the photograph of this road, it was exactly noon and I liked seeing this road very much. Because the trees are planted in rows on both sides of the road, so I found the road very attractive when looking at it from the main road. And the trees on both sides are painted white at the bottom and red and yellow at the top, which makes this road look more organized. It seems that some event is going on in the village, in view of which this road has been decorated. In fact, there is a feeling that there is a grand event, a social event going on in the village, which is why the road has been decorated. Moreover, the road was very beautiful and clean, so that it has been adapted to the beauty of the trees more beautifully. So I like it a lot and its beauty is actually beyond description.
