This picture is from the Pagla area. The area where I live is undergoing railway line construction. For the past one and a half years, the work on this railway line was completely stopped, not only in our area, but also in some rooms on the platform of Pagla railway station. After August 5th, everything in Bangladesh was demolished. No one wanted to say anything. And now the work on that railway line is going on again. The work is almost in the final stage near our house. This is the next part of the railway crossing. Especially, the work on the road towards Narayanganj is still pending. The brick has been filled with concrete and sand, then stones will be laid, and then the railway line slab will be installed. This path is used for morning walks. After it is completed, morning walks may no longer be possible. Then where will I take my morning walks?

I went from Pagla station to Fatulla station. The distance between the two stations is about 7-8 kilometers. I do this journey every day. On the way home, a train from Dhaka is going towards Narayanganj. I captured this beautiful scene on my way. The line on which the train is now running will be repaired when the new railway line is completed. The condition of the Dhaka-Narayanganj railway line is very poor. The government has taken up the plan to double the railway line here, and it is scheduled to be operational by the end of 2026.

I took some pictures of the work being done on the new railway line. This is basically a picture of the platform at Pagla railway station. Work has started here first. Our house is behind the station. On one side, work is underway on a new rail line, and on the other side, trains are running on the old rail line. A footbridge has been built on the platform. However, no work has been done on either side of the footoverbridge. Only foundation work has been done on either side.

Today is a special day for our Hindu community, Shiva Chaturdashi. On this day, Lord Shiva was born. Although we cannot go to the temple today, there are some restrictions. Still, I bought some fruit. My brother-in-law is coming to Dhaka from his village. I bought some of these for him. He has made a vow, so he is coming to Dhaka from the village. This is basically the Shiva temple located in the Pagla Bazar Paglanath Temple. He will go there and worship. I bought some fruit for him.
