'Home is where you're born.' Respectfully, I disagree. Home is where you feel like home. It could be your house, it could be a camp in a forest or it could be a person. 'Being home' is a feeling. It's an emotion, rather than a place. Some people want to spend their entire lives in the same city, same country they're born in. It's not the case with me.

I love traveling. Infact it's my goal to travel as many times as I can. If you have been following my blogs on steemit, you might have an idea about my love for traveling. So, moving to another country is a very viable option for me

It's not that Pakistan isn't good enough, it's just that a person should keep striving for better. Be thankful for your today and strive for your tomorrow is what I believe in. So it's my aim to move to a place where there are better oppurtunities for me. In this post, I'll be talking about three places that I'd love to move to:

Top Three Countries I'd move to

The three countries that I'm about to mention have been chosen by me after a lot of considerations. After keep everything in mind, I think the three countries that I'd like to move to are: Saudi Arabia, Germany and United Kingdom

There are solid reasons behind my choices. Lets find out below why I want to move to these three countries in particular.

Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia has always been my second home. Why so? I spent a big chunk of my life in Saudia. My adolescent years were spent in this country as my father used to work here in a hospital. I'd choose Saudi Arabia over other countries over and over again. The number reason 1 of doing that? You probably guessed it. Makkah and Medina.

This picture is from 2021 when I last visited Saudia. After this, my dad came back to Pakistan permanently. Only I know how my heart longs for going back there just once. Not only these two cities, the entire land of Arabia is very close to my heart. One thing that I absolutely love about KSA is the law and order there. You know, the crime rate in Saudi Arabia is 0.8 per 100k population compared to USA where it's4.9 per 100k population

Apart from that, the cultural diversity in Saudia is something that fascinates me. You'll meet people from all around the world, be it Australia, Japan, India etc.

Germany

I almost moved to Deutschland back in 2020. I had completed my German Language course. Had my admission almost secured in a public university, applied for the visa and then... Covid 19 hit the world. The world stopped. Did you know Germany was one of the most affected countries in the world. All the flights were cancelled and I had to cancel my plans.

Why would I move to Germany? There are alot of reasons but the thing that attracts me the most in the history associated with that region. I love reading history. Even though I am not a student of history yet I never let go any oppurtunities of experiencing the life people had before us.

This is the Berlin wall. I'd love to see this atleast once in my life. This is one of the many attractions in Germany. Oh and of course. I'd love to experience the Oktoberfest, not that I'd drink any beer there but still I'd live to feel the aura.

Apart from that, Deutschland is very advanced in healthcare, industries and quite literally in everything. The German passport is one of the strongest passports in the world. There are plenty of job opportunities and for someone like me, who's a young inspiring dentist, Germany is an ideal location for me, I'll just have to pass my Kenntnisprufung or commonly known as the KP examination.

Furthermore, all the people from Deutschland with whom I have interacted with in my life are very rational and intellectual people. Two of them are here on this platform, @weisser-rabe and @chriddi

United Kingdom

Almost the whole world had been colonized by the UK at one point in the history. Pakistan is no exception. We have a lot common with the English than we can think of. From the curriculum of our schools to the driving laws, we have all adapted to what the British taught us back in the day.

I'd love to move to the UK to explore it. To check out of the cultural heritage places. The historical landmarks, the history, the people and everything associated with that.

Being a football fan since I was 6 years old, the first club that I regularly started watching was Manchester United as my elder brother was a United fan. Fun fact, my brother works as a doctor in England as he has full filed his life long dream of visiting the Theatre of Dreams,Old Trafford.***

I am a huge football fan and I'd love to be in stadium during a Champions League match or during a PL match. I'd go crazy to watch Real Madrid Thrashing Manchester United at the Old Trafford.

Furthermore I think, UK provides a lot of job oppurtunities with decent salaries. The only downside are the huge taxes being imposed.

That's it from my side. I hope you enjoyed reading the post. I'd like to invite @eliany @event-horizon and @malikusman1 to participate in this challenge.

Home is definitely more than just the place where you were born. It's all about that feeling of belonging and comfort. I love how you mentioned that "being home" is an emotion rather than a specific location. It's amazing that you have a passion for traveling and exploring new places. And it's totally okay to strive for better opportunities and experiences in life. Saudi Arabia, Germany, and Ireland all sound like exciting options. I hope you find the perfect place that feels like home to you. Keep following your dreams and sharing your travel adventures on Steemit.

Thank you so much sahmie

Hi, your view of Germany is flattering, but not necessarily the same as mine ;-)) And my attitude towards home is more of a kind of indifference. I don't need a place where I feel at home - your mention of people or the hard-to-describe feeling of being sheltered is more to the point. Incidentally, I can feel at home in many places - and in just as many not. But what is important in any case is travelling. And to get to know places / people yourself in order to form an opinion.

Hi, your view of Germany is flattering, but not necessarily the same as mine ;-))

I think maybe it's due to the reason that the people who have spent their entire lives, or have done a chore for their entire lives, they find it rather boring compared to people who haven't done that. It's an opinion, it might be wrong. Like, visiting the historical places in Pakistan might be very attractive to the international tourists who have never been there, but the locals probably visited that historical fort a decade ago :)))

But what is important in any case is travelling. And to get to know places / people yourself in order to form an opinion.

Ditto same. I loveee meeting new people and getting to know them

Greetings dear, first we need to check a little about the country we are going to and then we have to decide what are the facilities of that country. If you ever get the chance to settle in another country, you want to go to Saudi Arabia, Germany and Ireland. Each country you choose has its own culture. I strongly believe that crime in Saudi Arabia is very low. Other countries follow their own culture that you like.
