The Earth has been the home of humans for millions of years now. But sadly, human activities have made this home not enjoyable; they rather make it warmer and bitter to live in. In this post, I write About activities by humans that make the Earth, which is our home, not enjoyable and how we can make the Earth a better home for all of us.

Human Activities That Ruin The Earth, Our Home

1. Burning of fossil fuels into the atmosphere: Development has brought about the burning of fossil fuels, and this occurs during industrial activities. When fossil fuels are burnt in the presence of insufficient air(oxygen), or the absence of air, carbon(II)oxide is released into the atmosphere. The sufficient of carbon(II)oxide in the atmosphere depletes the ozone layer, hence allowing much radiation to get to the earth, which makes our home warmer than normal, and this is known as Global warming.

2. Deforestation: Humans cut down trees in the name of development. When trees are cut down excessively and the ones that are left are not many, it's also leading to our home becoming warmer than normal. Why? This is because when excessive carbon II oxide is released into the atmosphere, and enough trees are not present to breathe in the carbon II oxide and send it out for humans, it would lead to the depletion of the ozone layer.

3. Oil Spillage: Activities by oil-producing companies most times lead to the spilling of oil into the water bodies, which normally leads to the killing of fishes and other living organisms in the water, hence contaminating the water bodies, making anything from the water bodies not suitable for human consumption.

4. Inhumane activities such as Wars and violence: In the quest for power and fame, humans end up fighting wars, which results in their killing one another. People are becoming violent, and these make the Earth, our home bitter and unenjoyable.

Let's Make The Earth A Better Home For Us

Abstaining from activities that ruin the earth and indulging in the ones that build it would make the Earth a better home for us all. Indulging in activities such as;

1. Forestation: Let's Make it our desire to plant trees, and discourage deforestation. In front of our houses, let's plant trees, and this would go a long way in reducing the level of carbon II oxide in the atmosphere, which would result in the strengthening of our ozone layer instead of depleting it.

2. Curbing Burning of Fossil Fuels: Let's indulge in activities that reduce the burning of fossil fuels into the atmosphere instead. All Industrial processes that involve the burning of fossil fuels should undergo complete combustion so that carbon Iv oxide would be released instead.

3. Managing oil Spillage: Spilling of oil into the water bodies should be discontinued and frowned upon.

4. Let Love Lead: Let's have intense love for one another. When we love each other as ourselves, we would not opt for war when there's a misunderstanding, but we would peacefully solve our misunderstanding. Let's extend a helping hand to those who need our help, and let us live together as brothers without prejudice.

Conclusively, if we intensely love one another, help those who are in need, become diplomatic by peacefully settling our misunderstanding, and abstain from activities that ruin the earth which is our home, such as deforestation, oil Spillage into the water bodies, and burning of fossil fuels, our earth would become a better home for us all. This would be possible by the intervention of the almighty God.
