Hello, dear friends! How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and enjoying your time with your loved ones, no matter where you are. Today, I want to share another day of my life with you all. I hope you find some time to read my post and that you find it enjoyable enough to upvote.

As usual, I got up very early in the morning. Not only does it help me stay active throughout the day, but it also helps me maximise my time. Whenever I get up late, I find the day feels shorter, and the amount of work I can accomplish is much less. That is why I find getting up early quite beneficial.

After waking up, I purified myself for the morning prayers, as it is obligatory for us to perform ablution before heading towards the mosque. Upon reaching there, we straightaway got into the prayers, and after making supplications, I headed back home. I was quick to return to my bed because of the intense cold outside. This has become my routine these days, as going out and doing physical exercise has become quite difficult. It is also advisable to stay indoors because people are susceptible to strokes and other health issues due to the cold wave prevailing in the valley, which is expected to last for the next two to three months. Until then, exercising outdoors remains a challenge.

After having my breakfast, I got ready to leave for the office. Upon reaching there, I was told by my colleague that the heater was not working, as it had suffered a short circuit a few days earlier. This was quite disappointing, as the temperature had gone down considerably, and working in such conditions is always challenging. We somehow managed to complete our work, perhaps helped by the hot tea that we ordered a couple of times during the day. By the afternoon, we were able to finish our target.

Meanwhile, I had my lunch in my car. I turned on the engine and the AC for some time, which gave me some relief from the biting cold. Later in the afternoon, I returned home. On my way, I went to see my cousin, who is leaving for Jammu in a couple of days. We will not be able to meet physically for the next two months, so I thought it would be good to see him before he leaves. After that, I took a shortcut route to reach home.

When I reached home, my mother was cooking in the kitchen, and I went straight to see her. She made a cup of tea for me, which made me very happy, considering how cold I was feeling. Later, I went to the living room and sat beside the electric blower to get some relief. Very late in the evening, I went out to buy groceries and other household items.

At 9 PM, we had dinner. Today, we could clearly feel the absence of two of our family members, my brother and sister-in-law, and the house felt a little empty. After dinner, I went to sleep and called it a day.
