The diary game. A Day Between Responsibilities and My Mother’s Care
Hello, dear friends! How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and enjoying your time with your loved ones, no matter where you are. Today, I want to share another day of my life with you all. I hope you find some time to read my post and that you find it enjoyable enough to upvote.
As usual, I got up very early in the morning. Last night I was in my mother’s room to be with her, as she hasn’t been feeling well for the last few days. This worries me a lot because I cannot stay away from her; she is very dear to me. As soon as I got up, I purified myself by performing ablution and then offered the morning prayers. After making supplications, I returned home and went back to bed to get some relief from the cold.
I woke up again at breakfast time. My sister-in-law had prepared breakfast in the meantime. After finishing my breakfast, I helped my mother with her medication and then went outside because I had some maintenance work to do on my car. The left front wheel had been punctured a few days earlier and had gone completely flat. I wanted to change the tyre in case of an emergency, as I might not get time later. Since I was at home today and had to go to the revenue office to collect some documents regarding our land, I decided to do it.
Maintaining the car was quite a tough job for me because of the cold. It became easier only after some sunshine appeared when the fog cleared after the last rainfall. By the time I finished fixing my car, it was 12 PM. After that, I did some other work at home and then had my lunch. Soon after lunch, I went to the revenue office located about a kilometre away from my place to get a document signed by the concerned authority. It was a confirmation of possessing a piece of land in our village, which I need to submit to the Horticulture Office for applying for some machinery provided to farmers under different government schemes. The whole work took quite some time, and it was almost 4:30 PM when I returned home.
While I was out, my mother was constantly on my mind because she was not feeling well due to the new medication she started a few days ago. The doctor had already told us that during the first week she might not feel very active and could experience nausea, numbness, anxiety, etc. I was worried that her BP might shoot up, but thankfully it has remained stable since we took her to the hospital yesterday.
Later in the evening, it was time to buy some groceries and also visit my maternal home because they needed to repair an electronic item. Since I usually handle such things, my maternal uncle called me to help him with the repair. I went there, helped them fix the issue, and then headed back home. I was a bit late today because I stayed at my maternal home for some time and also spent time buying groceries and other items from the market. It was around 8 PM when I reached home. I had my dinner at around 9:30 PM and before going to bed, I spent some time on social media interacting with my friends and people I have never met physically but still share a strong connection with.
Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
