Hello, dear friends! How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and enjoying your time with your loved ones, no matter where you are. Today, I want to share another day of my life with you all. I hope you find some time to read my post and that you find it enjoyable enough to upvote.

Having been told to do my office work from the comfort of my home, I have been a little relaxed for the past few days, and the same was the case today when I woke up very early in the morning. Just after finishing performing ablution, I went and offered the morning prayers and started my day by paying gratitude to the Almighty. That is how we should start our day. Praying is an obligation in our religion and one of the basic tenets we need to follow; for that reason, offering the morning prayer is very important. Although it was very cold outside, praying very early in the morning gives me positivity and helps me maximise the duration of my working hours during the day. Otherwise, when we wake up very late, we get very little time to finish our activities and feel as if the day is short.

After finishing the prayers, I returned home, and it was time to go back to bed again to stay warm. Before going to bed, I drank a seed mixture along with milk that I had soaked overnight. Only after finishing the morning meal and completing the morning chores did I get some time to spend with the kids who had come to our place and were enjoying sliding on the accumulated snow under the roof. I enjoyed spending time with them, as seeing them happy with such simple things truly delighted me.

Meanwhile, I also got some time to read a few chapters of history that I am fond of. I usually try to spend time reading history because it helps me understand what our ancestors did and what our forefathers did for us. After finishing my reading, there were a few other things to take care of. In the afternoon, I had to bring some meat and chicken because tonight a sacred night was to be observed as per Islamic teachings. For that reason, we needed to prepare a few dishes for the occasion. It was raining, and going outside was a bit difficult as the temperature had dipped sharply, but there was no alternative, and these tasks had to be completed on time.

Later in the day, I had to bring milk from my uncle’s home. While I was out to bring the milk, I took it as an opportunity to visit the market and meet my friends, who usually spend some time in the evening at one of our friend’s shops. On reaching there, I found that none of my friends were present, but the shopkeeper friend was there, and I spent some time with him. There was good movement and a heavy flow of people in the market, as everyone was shopping for the great occasion of Shab-e-Barat. I enjoyed my time there and later returned home.

At night, I took part in the late-night Isha prayers. Only after praying did I return home, and then it was time for more worship, including recitation of the Quran, meditation, and contemplation. This continued till the later part of the night.
