The diary game. A Difficult Day Battling Illness and Fulfilling Responsibilities
Hello, dear friends! How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and enjoying your time with your loved ones, no matter where you are. Today, I want to share another day of my life with you all. I hope you find some time to read my post and that you find it enjoyable enough to upvote.
Right from the time I got up, I wasn’t feeling well. I felt dizziness, a headache, and also a sore throat. At first, I was in no mood to get up, but the sore throat made me quite uncomfortable, and I quickly got up and had some hot water to get some relief. After praying and making supplications, I again went to take some rest as I wasn’t feeling well, and this time, I didn’t go to my bed but lay down in the living room, right beside the heater, and slept there for some time.
After some time, I got up and had my breakfast, and then I went outside to sit in the sun, not only to get some warmth but also to breathe some fresh air, which I thought might help relieve my headache. But it didn’t work at all. I don’t take medicine whenever I fall ill because I believe those medicines have some side effects and would impact human health sooner or later.
Now I was worried about the promise I had made to a person who called me last night and requested me to visit their house and register them for the PMAY housing scheme, for which I have been made the surveyor of the respective area. Despite being deputed at a different office for a special duty these days, I couldn’t say no to him but promised to register him today only. Even though I was not feeling good at all, I left my place at around 2 PM.
Upon reaching there, I first called the person, and he came to the road where he guided me towards his old house. Upon reaching there, I was surprised to see four families living in a single house with not-so-strong walls. The person who requested me to register him had even less space because of the size of his family. They were five members living in a single room, and I felt bad for them. After completing the process, I left, and then I had to go to the vacant land where they would be constructing their house if they got the benefit of the scheme. I was accompanied by the person, and again their proposed house site was at a very distant place, which turned out to be quite difficult for me because I was already not feeling well, and now I had to walk uphill to reach that area.
Upon returning, I went to see the famous Nilnag Lake, as I had not visited that place for the last few months because I rarely get a chance to go to such places these days due to the huge workload from the special duty. I stayed there along the banks and enjoyed the serenity, but the cold breeze made me uncomfortable again, and I felt like my condition could worsen, so I returned home quickly. I enjoyed the views as winter comes with different sights all around, and while I was driving back home and negotiating the curves, the scenery was very beautiful. Unfortunately, I couldn’t capture those views because they are only beautiful to the eyes and cannot be captured due to the fog prevalent these days and also because I was in a hurry to reach back home and get to bed.
Upon Reaching my place, I made a special tea called kehwa, which is believed to be a pain reliever, and it actually turned out to be the same for me as it not only helped me get some relief from the headache but also from the sore throat as well. Because I had kehwa, I was in no mood to have any other food, so I had my dinner very late at around 10 PM, only when my mom insisted. Then at around 11:30 PM, I went to bed after going through social media for a while and interacting with some people with whom I usually talk.
Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
