The diary game. A Peaceful Start, a Busy Day, and an Evening Wrapped in Family Love
Hello, dear friends! How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and enjoying your time with your loved ones, no matter where you are. Today, I want to share another day of my life with you all. I hope you find some time to read my post and that you find it enjoyable enough to upvote.
I got up early in the morning as I have a habit of rising early, and without hesitating, I came out of the warmth of my bed and went straight to purify myself for the morning prayers. After performing ablution, I went to offer the obligatory prayers that must be performed no matter what. I began my day with peace, prosperity, and a strong sense of positivity.
Upon finishing my prayers, I returned home. I couldn’t stand outside for long, so I sat beside the heater to get some warmth and ended up falling asleep there again. When I woke up, it was time for breakfast, and I quickly finished it because I had to leave for the office. After getting ready, I took a shortcut route and reached the office in just 20–25 minutes. My colleague had already reached there, and he was continuously calling to ask about my location. As soon as I arrived, we got straight into our work.
We are among the few officials still doing the digitisation work because we have been assigned some of the largest villages that need to be digitised. For that reason, we are still working on it even after three or four months. While we were working comfortably in the office, the electricity went off, so we moved to a nearby restaurant where UPS was available. We sat there and continued our work because we had our target in mind. We had tea a couple of times, and I also had my lunch there at around 1 PM. Afterward, we returned to the office.
Later in the day, I had to submit the consent form for my attendance from my immediate boss at the district office, from where they furnish the attendance report to my parent office for salary purposes, especially since the month is coming to an end. Unfortunately, the Tehsildar wasn’t there, so I couldn’t get my document signed. Anyway, I will get it done next week.
When I returned home, my cousin—who has been staying with us for the past 3 to 4 days—was waiting for me. As soon as I reached home, he hugged me, and I could feel how much he loves me. Later, he took me to our grandmother’s home as he had heard about the arrival of one of our cousins from his maternal home. Since they are of the same age, they are more like friends and enjoy spending time together.
In the evening, I returned home, leaving my cousin there because he wasn’t in the mood to come back with me. It was around 9 PM when I reached home. After some time, I had my dinner, and later, at around 11:30 PM, I went to sleep after scrolling through social media for a while.
Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
